[Question] Uryu

I don't really read the manga, but I want to know, where does Uryu's allegiance lie? Is he with Wandenreich and against Ichigo?

Right now, it seems he's allied with the Quincies. But we don't really know what he's up to to be honest.

Honestly, I don't want a Naruto and Sasuke scenario with Ichigo and Ishida. It's also weird how Ishida casually joins the Quincies, and we haven't heard anything from Ryuuken.

I seriously don't know. Uryu isn't so dumb as to try to steal information in such a way. I think he is just trying to cover his father's trail. It s weird that we haven't heard anything about his father being dead, even though he is a full quincy.(like Ichigo's mother, who actually only died like 3 years ago, not when Ichigo was a kid.)

Only the power of mixed-blood Quincies were taken. So Ryuuken and Ishida survived.

I know his mother was not pure blood, but was it ever said Ishida himself was mixed? Isshin did say all mixed-bloods lost the power and died. But Ishida did not. And even if Ishida is a mixed-blood, Yhwach has already alluded to the fact that Ishida is special.

Besides, if we factor genetics into this, it is possible for a pure blood offspring to be produced from a mixed and pure blood anyway.

I think Uryuu is trying to find out/confirm something related to quincy's secret like who were quincies or how they came into existence etc etc. OR Knowing Uryuu he's not the man who would be stupid enough to go against his best friend Ichigo, i agree his character is little bit skeptical but it wouldn't be rational to assume that he did all this solely for the purpose of defeating and exterminating shinigami's. So i guess shinigami's set him up to decoy and sabotage quincies
