Who wins? I put my money on Uryu on both accounts, Uryu's current hype > Renji's hype and his outfit, plus Pre-Blood War Arc, he'll speedblitz him imo.

Renji came on the battlefield now trained and prepared. He's ready to take on the guys who beat Taichō.

Uryū was never par with captains. And you can never actually compare Bleach characters, it's all about hype. Not to mention, Renji was almost par with Pre-Dangai Ichigo.

Imagine how many seconds Uryū would last against Renji. He would blitz him.

You can't compare Bleach characters because their powerups come out of nowhere. Rnadom characters will occasionally become OP and pull a devastating attack out of nowhere. My point is there is no way to predict the outcome.

Current Abarai Renji is above uryu Ishida he had training at Ichibei Hyōsube
so I think he is above the old Uryu.

But Yūhabahha chose Uryu for a certain reason, so we have to wait for Uryu to go ''all out''
to be sure.

I highly doubt that would happen...

But for the match up overall:

If we're counting Hype then Uryu wins low diff.

But if we're only looking at feats then Renji takes it high/mid diff though.

Before the timeskip, Uryu at peak power(Letz Stil) he could one-panel a captain in bankai(Mayuri) something Renji in bankai could never do even in his wildest dreams!, now, Uryu has the same ability as Juha freakin Bach!
The royal palace training can't possibly cover that...Renji will get annihilated!!..

Uryu has more potential than Juhabach and he's being hyped to fight Ichigo (After RR training), Uryu defeat Mayuri when he went all out Renji could not.

Uryu is hyped to be on par with Yhwach, who one paneled...Renji shouldn't even be near that level, even if he did just come from the Royal palace.

Without hype and feats, still Uryu. Uryu is faster and smarter than him, Renji fights without thinking and is too Savage.

bad matchup man we both knew that renji is slower unless his training up the speed of his shikai and bankai even then uryuu should be twice as fast by now then he was before this arc right.

uryuu for the win obviously. the only good matchup for uryuu besides ichigo is ukitake for his shikai abilities alone.
