Which ones are there in your area? Does your family have any superstitions?

In my area (South Texas) we have several urban legends such as La Bruja Lechuza, The devils Lagoon, La Llorona, case of feral children, and the lady that danced with the devil. I would like to tell you about all of them but I'm at wrk and cant really be on the phone lol. I know my family is superstitious about the white owl itself and whenever it appears at night (this one has to do about the bruja lechuza legend)


Can you share any of your urbano legends.

I am from Tobago in the caribbean we have alot one similar your children on there feet are back to front (cant remember they are calle right now) next is a beast called a succunniant its a ball of fire which looks for children (pure blood) to feast its weakness is salt and if you throw rice grains arround your house it has to pick up every grain one by one. I don't know of any unique to where I live, but I remember as a child everyone believed in bloody mary and that she lived in the house across the school, seeking children to kidnap and consume.

Yeah ive heard of it even from here in Texas. They say she only comes out at night to prowl the forest. Also that it has the appearance of a chupacabra and a bear lol A cross usually stops her
