Uploading pictures for your profile?

Well, I'm in the process of finishing my epic profile, and though I've been here for a while, I've always used my NB album to upload the things for it, but jsing the NB album takes away the HQ quality from some pictures, I'm trying to insert the link of the picture itself from which I uploaded from myobokuzan and imageshack, but none seem to work.

So how do I add the pictures without creating an album?

You have to upload them to the album. You can't use external sites for your profile.

I've seen a few without albums containing them.

Nope, he's got a profile album - it's just set on private so you can't see it.
