I think it's hard to make an attractive adaptation in live action, even if authors like it that doesn't mean it's gonna be good, Stephen King has allowed millions of movies to be based on his work without all of them being successful.

Especially if a certain type of emotion can only be conveyed through animated characters and not real life crackers who think/act like they are funny. That american accent pronouncing japanese words in itself is corny.
I'm a bit apprehensive, but if it's on netflix or something I'll give it a watch. I wouldn't go to a theater or anything, already made that mistake with Dragon ball Evolution.
Maybe it's not impossible but I'm not clamouring for this. I am probably gonna see it but I would likely just get sad xD.
It will be hard just to do the english voices.
live action can be done properly if they don't stick to the anime aesthetics like anime hair.
If Naruto does get a live action, they should just keep everything normal.
Naruto being a white blonde male.
Sakura being a red head (I suppose you can get her to die her hair here)
Sasuke being a japanese/half-japanese with medium to long hair.
so on and so forth.
If they do everything close to reality it should work fine.
We've seen this done by TV shows and movies in terms of comic adaptations.
I'm talking about the absurd superhero looks being more like combat wear rather than spandex.
It just seems like we don't ever try to keep the character design close to realistic when it comes to manga.
Unless the hair is like a trademark, then maybe there isn't much leeway there but in Naruto, there's plenty of things you can get away with. Heck, the entire manga was a series of asspulls and Kishi kept getting away with them.
If I were to do Naruto I'd keep hairstyles realistic

You know why live action movies "**** up"?...cause you can't take a japanese concept, and americanize it.It doesn't make sense, and takes away from the essence of it. Remember that Dragon ball live action movie?Oh my freaking god, they never learn their lesson.
Making the characters white, is kind of ruining it, cause it's not the same.

Star Wars disagrees, that aside I do know what you mean. Curious though if you feel the same way about the last sentence when the change isn't to white but from white?
I was mainly focused on the hairstyle lmaoo I think if you combine both his pic and the other, we'd get close to Kakashi's real life look without it trying too hard to look like anime which makes things out of place.

What a mix up of information. Another psychologically twisted case.
Star wars concept is inspired by the "bible", however, it's barely like the bible.Sort of "original". It's in no form or way, comparable to americanizing a japanese concept. It's twisted and takes away from it's essence.
You actually have to represent the concept, in an entirely different way, similar to star wars and the bible, in order to make it work...otherwise it's just gonna be "corny"...no one's convinced of a white guy acting japanese and doing hand signs, it's corny and we're not feeling it. It's just culture appropriation. A super wannabe fanboy issue.
Aww you want revenge, still?Damn I got you good, didn't I?
And you did a good job manipulating information to try and make it sound convincing, but it ain't convincing enough.
You jump to conclusions about my post, I never said that just because it's a japanese anime it will succeed in becoming a live action, just because it's done by japan. Most live action movies of anime suck, to be honest. It doesn't work, however, taking a japanese anime and making an american live action film to imitate japanese culture? That's TWICE as retarded.
It's such a "clash". I can tell it's not gonna work, at least in this case.

Lol, brilliant. Condescension and wrong I love it. You're a funny guy.
Star Wars was based off The Hidden Fortress by Akira Kurosawa. And before you write a diatribe about how it's similar to the bible, it's more similar to The Hidden Fortress. It may have elements of biblical stories in it but it's core story is a light Hidden Fortress, in space.
And where did I advocate recasting as white any way? Projecting much? My literal words were "that aside I do know what you mean." I love that you accuse and honestly believe EVERYONE is manipulating and twisting your words, honest to goodness paranoia is entertaining from time to time. Good times.

I want revenge on you making my nonracist post be interpreted as racist and yet you are deflecting a direct racist statement?
your ego is truly infatuated.

I can see why you are mocked, you hypocrite
literally racist and your arguments are contradictory.
