Ok let me ask you this much. Lets say you love someone deeply. And they are acting insane towards you. Deep down inside you have a feeling you know why they are acting insane towards you. Would you leave them behind? If you know they are suffering?

It's really a serious question- if Sasuke can have dozens of people to sympathies with him despite all the negative actions then why cannot Sakura be included? Either he is character worth caring for or he is not. Either you believe he is sincere in his efforts of atoning for his sins or he is not. Make up your mind instead of giving me a knee jerk reaction and cop out arguments.

Love doesn't hurt. If it hurts it’s something else. Fear. Attachment. Idolatry. Addiction. Possessiveness...grow-up. If you know that they are suffering you should let go and know that your love is all selflessness. It’s the opposite of need and attachment. Every individual now knows it’s a sensation of allowing, rather than seeking. Letting go, rather than grasping. In her case she wanted to be part of the clan. To your questions; understanding insane itself is enough.

I don't think she was really that selfish. In fact I think she was selfless. She wanted whats best for Sasuke and not allow him to go in the path of darkness. If he was to go in the path of darkness, she would follow him. She is kinda like Naruto with Sasuke, but a little deeper. I just think she always knew he was suffering. She just wanted him back safe and sound. Her love grew over time. But it went to the point where she did not care anymore about her heart. She only cared for his safety. Which is why she was willing to risk it all to save him. Even if it means trying to kill him in the process. If that was a means to save him.

I can't say it's true or if it's false as I would argue that Sakura is not enforced as a character but a maiden for Sasuke. The more I talk about the more I feel I will get hated toward what I see in Sackra. Personally yes, though the fact of declaring you cared no less on the side of each show not any logic as you have one side to choose to defend. If you do see the faults in my proclaim then declare so.
