I want to know desperately what happened to the people who lived there

The article sounds like the urban explorer is just fascinated with abandoned homes. If a person was in the area, I'm sure what happened could be pieced together.

It could be as simple as the last member of the family passing away with no will, and anyone interested in buying the property just didn't want to have to empty everything. Once a home sits unheated and closed up for even a few months, a nasty smell develops, which would further discourage any would-be purchasers.

On a side note, I really need to sign off and clean my house XD

same thing happened in Paris, a rich lady moved to the south in 1942 during the war but never went back.
when she died in 2010, they discovered she owned this place and they decided to open the apartment, nothing was touched for decades!!!

they also discovered a very rare paint which was sold for millions of euros.
