Just wanted to point this out, though I'm not exactly 100% sure bout this one, but it seems likely.

Many of you [including myself] are upset because the manga is apparently being rushed. We didn't get to see Kakashi's rampage, Gaara and Onoki take on the previous Kage, or much of any other battles, to be precise. Of course, Kishi is not a super mangaka so you can't expect him to draw five different battles at once - this would just confuse the storylines up anyway.

My point here is: Don't fret it too much. I reckon the anime will cover up and detail those unseen battles. It's highly likely if you think about it. The anime studio's always looking for a way to draw out the story so it doesn't crisscross with the manga [*cough* fillers *cough*], so I think they'll do good on this one.

It'd be nice to see Kakashi's rampage in action and colour!

Let's just hope they don't screw it up like the Invasion of Pain arc!!

Totally agree with this thread, about time some of the action starts, i've been waiting personally for the rampage to happen for, like 2 months now.
Thanks! :D Woo! Hooray for action! :overjoy:

& same, I can't wait til they animate the War. But if they screw it up... I'ma go Sage Mode on TV Tokyo! Seriously! :rag:

I dont know if anyone noticed it but since the last filler arc the quality of the anime is going down, so i thought perhaps because of the filler arc but still even the latest episodes are very poor quality, the way the characters are drawn are too simple and very few details.

Thats why i dont look forward to see the war in animation.

Anyone else noticed it?

Yeah, you're right. The other day I was watching the Orochimaru vs. Four-Tails fight, and comparing it to the fights nowdays, I was like: damn, they're screwing up bad :/

But maybe things will change, never know :D

Pain versus Kyuubi was also bad quality, but that was because it was full of action, now is the whole kage summit arc bad quality and there`s no reason for that =[ .
I re-read the manga where sasuke battles danzo and there he is badass! In the anime he looks like an emo, but the most dissapointing thing was when he pierced karin and danzo at the same time in the anime, it was just a not-moving picture directly copied of the manga even in black-white.

At best there's only 4 manga issues per month, so trying to equate time doesn't work too well. I think we'll see these take place. Kishi went through all that time and effort to explain the dust release bloodline expansion, and people expect him to just forget about it? I think we'll see the fights, it's just that the story is highly fragmented due to the war, and Kishi feels that jumping around the battlefields and other areas is better than capping off areas sequentially. That's my take.

This is the first war for us, so expect a different stye of presentation from the one on one battles we've had for the most part so far.

Fair enough. However, i am sick and tired of seeing the manga move in pointless directions so often e.g overpowered noobs(the kin gin bro's). Like, was there really a need to have an entire chapter of naruto just talking to the kyuubi? A couple of pages would have sufficed.

chances are the unseen fights will be used as anime filler. and if the anime team decides to show effort and use the animating style like the one in dnazo vs sasuke, hidan n kakuzu vs kakashis team, and sasuke vs deidara, we're in for a treat, if they use the ugly stiff animating style not meant for fights but are still used for fights...well, all hell shall break lose
