I know she had one but she never uses it now.as u stated hand to hand is her strong suit.

Yes Yoruichi does have a zanpaktou but doesn't fight with it. In Bleach 3rd Phantom she is shown in the past as a captain with cat claws in a still image but I doubt it is cannon.

Hmm my guess would be that Aizen's Bankai will be something to do with hypnosis or something and Shunsui his Bankai must be pretty devastating if Ukitake told him not to use it in place like this.

The Bankai I want to see is Isshin as by the looks of things his Zanpaktou is extremely similar to Ichigo's (or the other way round Idk) but does that also mean their Bankai's are similar.

Maybe Shunsui's Bankai makes the games more serious? similar to Soi-fons Shikai or something if you lose the game you die automatically XD

But I think it's more likely that it has something to do with shadows as that seemed to be a strong theme when he used it. And since Ukitake said something along the lines of 'Don't use it here where everyone can SEE it' so it's possibly something to do with vision such as if you can see a shadow your vulnerable or something.

On the other hand...I know nothing.

Aizen is good enough without Bankai, considering how powerful his Shikai is it might be a bit to far boosting his power like...10 fold to put him in Bankai. Besides, there is always the possibility that he doesn't have it...never trained for it because his Shikai was good enough and for all those thinking about how he became captain without it he just made an illusion of having one. In a similar way as he did with his fake Shikai the 'misdirection using mist' trick.

Just a few thoughts, none of them probably right.
