Lets just say you really loved someone from the bottom of your heart, even if you knew that you couldn't have them, you'd just be happy with being their friend and being supportive and what not. You get along with them perfectly fine and talk about deep matters, and you've moved past your previous feelings for them. My question is... is it okay to have little minor thoughts about them like "she's so pretty" and saying small things like "I love you, ______", even though you contradict yourself later on by saying things like "no, you can't like her, there's no point" or "no one will ever take my side"? Is it okay, because when I try and talk to my other friends about this, they assume thst i still have feelings for her and they mock me about it
