What if the sage couldn't handle the evil chakra from the ten tails so his brother sealed most of the pure evil chakra inside him. The power took over him so either the sage sealed him or killed him..
Naruto has a moment where either he is close to death again or someone dies. The sages brother appears in narutos mind saying he will give naruto the power to defeat kaguya but since its pure evil it will most likely take over. ( since the chakra was sealed away madara and obito didn't get this evil chakra)
Naruto takes the power, either his hair will get black tips it it will be all black like menma from the last movie. His eyes will be black like when he was at the waterfall of truth. His cloak will be the opposite, mostly black with a lil orange/yellow. Naruto and Sasuke beat kaguya. Naruto disappears.

Sasuke is shown becoming hokage as naruto watches from afar. Naruto is still consumed by the evil chakra and has hatred towards Sasuke for becoming hokage.
Naruto will confront Sasuke, it will either be their final fight or a cliff hanger for a new series where naruto is the villain and it will show how the hatred will never stop. .
