Unlimited/Limited chakra of Edo?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if the people reanimated by the Edo can't be killed but must be sealed in order to be stopped do they have Limited chakra or Unlimited chakra? Because I'm a bit confused about the statement of Tobirama in the chapter 638 'Even if we cancel the remaining clone we still can't make it' is he referring on saving their chakra?

Shadow clone halves the chakra CAPACITY and puts the other half in the clone. If you make 2 clones than your chakra gets divided by 3 so your original has only 1/3 chakra and the 2 clones also have 1/3 chakra each. And so on and on.

Ok I'll explain: Edos have a limited capacity but an unlimited supply. Is that clear? Let me make an analogy. Suppose you had a magic 9volt battery that never runs out - it can keep producing electricity forever, but it can't make more than 9 volts at a time.

They do have unlimited chakra, but they can only use their power as if they were alive. It's kind of hard to explain others can do better.

I know Madara has unlimited chakra, I'm not too sure about the other Edos. Oh yeah and unlimited is another word for infinite, so Madara has infinite chakra.

to make it even simpler, suppose you're edo kakashi and have 100 chakra. and edo naruto who had 4 times as much would have 400. so naruto can spam jutsu all he wants, however he can't exceed the 400 chakra with one jutsu. so let's say he makes 200 clones, and they would each have 2 chakra. this is why for example edo muu was unable to use dust release after he split, because even though his chakra supply was perfect, his pool of chakra was diminished.

there is no edo with unlimited chakra buddy. Madara just has hashirama's dna so his already great chakra levels (for an uchiha especially) got a massive boost. he still can't say, do a chibaku tensei the size of the moon like the sage did. but he can use perfect susanoo, and hashirama's techniques and spam them with impunity because they were within his capabilities and hashirama's while alive and he doesn't need to concern himself about stamina now.
