Nothing short of Sasuke needing to go on an extended journey to save the entire world can justify being gone so long and never seeing his wife and daughter. Now if Sasuke is somehow traveling through dimensions checking out Kaguya's home world to figure out about her/ find a new home world to save humanities from Earth's upcoming destruction. Bonus if their is time dilution in the dimensions so Sasuke doesn't even know he has been gone so long. Now this probably won't happen but if Sasuke is still on Earth the world is not big enough with his crazy powers to not be able to visit home occasionally no matter what happened. We know Kishi was inspired by the matrix and Interstellar was another mind blowing movie so who knows.

Your vastly overestimating Kishi and his writing, its trolling/bait, nothing more.

Exactly. There is no foreseeable, logical reason for him to be gone for 14 years. We can't expect a massive answer like Kaguya returning or some shit, because, unless we're surprised, this series has only 9 23-page chapters left and a movie.

Honestly though Its not surprising Sasuke only had what 8 years of a normal childhood and even then his father was cold to him, Itachi became distant.

Sasuke is so ****ed in the head, its wrong what he did to Sarada however looking back at all the stuff that happened to him its understandable kind of. Sadly Sarada got the short end of the stick and has a messed up father.

Lol evidence from last chapter dictates that Sasuke and Sakura ain't married, and Sarada isn't Sakura's child.

theres no excuse that can pardon his absence really. He could've teleported to the village to see her but nah.
It's also kinda sad that he becomes Boruto's master instead of hers. Lol

All I am saying is some epic world saving journey where you simply can't return for a very long time even if you wanted to is the only possible excuse unless you were kidnapped or imprisoned to not see your family for over a decade. Nothing Sasuke does from here on out can make up for that.

He IS on a mission to try and find out what's going on with the world and making sure there's no lingering threats like more black zetsu type things running around trying to mess shit up and revive ancient monsters.
