The speed of the Yellow Flash was marvelously displayed as he took one of his special blades and held the side of the handle which bore the jutsu formula for his Flying Thunder God Technique, up against the incoming Dust Release attack, causing the advanced elemental attack to vanish into thin air.
Onoki's eyes widened with shock as he saw this, he was even more disturbed when he heard the screech of his technique, mixed in with the cries of his own comrades. He turned around to see a large portion of the earth neatly carved away from existence along with his comrades and realized what had happened: his Dust Release was used against his own men. “You little bastard!” Onoki shouted in anger as his attention turned to the Yellow Flash.
“About one-third of your attack force has been decimated by your own attack, I suggest you retreat in order to allow my comrades and I relocate from this place peacefully thereby avoiding more casualties.” The Yellow Flash said as he proceeded to holster his weapon. He watched Onoki as the old man gazed at his followers. One of them had both legs cleanly severed from his body and destroyed by the Dust Relase and continually screamed in excruciating pain, another lost an arm and a few of his toes and had lost consciousness while yet another was nearly completely destroyed with only an arm and the top of his head left, this and many more gruesome incidents made up this ghastly scene. The air was filled with cries of pain and the wind carried to choking scent of blood yet Minato could see no sadness on Onoki's face, only anger.
“So, if a Konoha commander were in my shoes, he would retreat? How pitiful. So, Konoha truly is truly a pack of gutless fools, they don't even have to heart for war, do they?” Onoki paused as his wrinkled lips curved into a wide grin and he brought his palms close together. “I, Onoki of Both Scales, Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, have never and will never flee from any opponent!” A small, glowing pyramid with its sharp end pointed at Minato, appeared between his palms. “Kitsuchi!” Onoki called out.
A bulky fellow dressed in the standard Iwagakure emerged from amongst Iwa's ranks in a puff of smoke. His large muscles and his bulbous nose were his most striking features. Also, conspicuous was the frightful glare he was giving the Yellow Flash. “Yeah?”
“You survived, I see. Good, take charge of the rest and move in on the Konoha shinobi. I'll handle the Yellow Flash. ” Onoki ordered the man without bothering to look at him, keeping his dimmed, round eyes focused on the Yellow Flash.
“Be careful, Tsuchikage-sama.” He cautioned as he leaped into the air. “Let's go!” he shouted to his comrades and they immediately followed suit.
Minato observed the horde of shinobi leap towards where his comrades where camped and immediately tried to stop them by attacking with a volley of his custom weapons. As the kunai flew towards the ninja who were still in mid-air, the weapons were completely obliterated by a horizontal beam of light. “What!?” Minato asked, suprised. His eyes immediately traced its source to Onoki's hands; Onoki had destroyed his kunai with a Dust Release.
“I'm afraid your comrades will have to take care of themselves. You're going to be...otherwise occupied.” Onoki said with a slight grin as the army of Iwa ninja landed behind Minato and charged towards the Konoha camp. He watched the disturbed look on Minato's face with pleasure as the smile on his face widened.
“I'm afraid I'm going to have to kill you Tsuchikage-sama.” Minato said, his voice making no attempt to hide his anger as he armed himself with a kunai. “Prepare.”
“Hahaha...this will be interesting.” Onoki commented as he flashed a wide grin. “Though it seems a direct Dust Release won't put an end to this. As it stands, it'll be impossible to crush you from a distance. I'll have to get close and personal.” Onoki flew towards Minato at startling speed and formed half the Tiger seal with one hand before he spewed a large amount of mud which shaped itself into a massive humanoid with its torso ending at Onoki's lips. “Earth Release: Golem Technique” The earthen beast then threw a punch at Minato with its left hand.
Chakra immediately began to spiral on Minato's palm and formed into a condensed sphere which Minato rammed into the incoming fist, shattering it along with most of the Golem's body. “Rasengan!” Minato then threw a kunai at Onoki with his free hand. The Golem batted the weapon away with its right arm as Onoki disconnected the torso of the humanoid from his mouth, allowing it to fall to the ground then formed another hand seal.
“Earth Release: Rock Fist Technqiue.” Pieces of rock appeared and joined together around Onoki's right arm, creating a large fist of rock then Onoki moved in on Minato and attacked with the earth-enhanced right arm. Minato narrowly evaded the attack by shifting to the right then formed another Rasengan on his left hand before attacking Onoki with it. As the sphere inched closer to the legendary Tsuchikage who was left open as his attack missed, the fallen Golem raised its right arm to obstruct the path of the attack.
At the moment Minato's attack connected with the Golem, Onoki placed his palm on its raised hand. “Earth Release: Weighted Rock Technique!” With the arm of the Golem strengthened and weightier as a result of Onoki's touch, it was able to withstand the Rasengan without being completely destroyed, stopping Minato's attack. Onoki then swung his rock fist at Minato once more, the point-blank attack at Onoki's flight speed left no room for evasion. Onoki's face wore the expression of a victor but was immediately overcome with shock as Minato vanished in a yellow flash of light and reappeared above him, Rasengan in hand. “He must have marked the golem with his first attack and has now teleported to it!” Onoki thought to himself.
“Its over Tsuchikage!” Minato thought as he brought his hand down on the Tsuchikage, the blue sphere of chakra sent Onoki crashing into the remnants of his Golem and caused severe damage to the ground. Minato's eyes widened in shock when he heard a loud and familiar screech.
Onoki was floating behind Minato, holding a small pyramid forged from his Dust Release between both palms. “At this range and this distance, even you can't react fast enough to teleport away! Its over Konoha brat!” Onoki thought to himself as the attack fired off at Minato in a bright flash.
As the dust from the explosion cleared, there was no trace of Minato, the Golem or the Onoki which Minato fought. Onoki immediately surveyed his surroundings with great care, obviously looking for any sign of his blonde opponent but found nothing. A grin appeared on the Tsuchikage's wrinkled face. “Tricking him with that Rock Clone must have done it. The Yellow Flash is dead. Now to deal with the other Konoha insects” With that, Onoki set off to join his troops at the Konoha camp.
