Depends on where you live in india mate.
Depend on the original language that was used to write the Ramayan mate ..... But our national language Hindi may suffice for now.

Hindi then has different dialects, which use different variations of the Avtars and Deities.
And none of them uses 'Rama', its pronounced as 'Ram' ...... also as far as I know, names does not change with tongues (But a casual translator may make alterations in which case the original or the pronunciation used my the majority at the place of its orgin still hold the cerdibility) and while the deities may or may not have multiple names usually their chief or birth names are used to refer to them in common use. For example Ram has 108 names but people say 'Jai Shree Ram' never say 'Jai shree Chitrakoot Samashraya' .....
Well I was considering the most popular pronunciation (I hardly thought Kishi or any Japanese would go much deep into Sanskrit), the westerners (I actually meant both our western states and some of the Western States of India... I shld have coined my terminology better) like the Punjab and the like use 'Raama' .... And some people use 'Raamo' too in chants (Then again some non english speakers call Jesus Christ: Jesu Khrista, Yasu etc) .... But I stand corrected .....
But back to the topic Kurama also has Rama in his name ..... so does Tobirama and Kawarama ..... so it might be randomly chosen name ... as the 'rama' is not so uncommon in Japanese names as it seems ....
And I know they all "rama" in their names. But the connection between Ramchandra and Hashirama is too strong.
Kirshna was the 16 Kala guni Avatar
Ram was the 14 Kala guni avatar
In this case:
Rikudou being the case of Krishna
Hashirama being the case of Ram
Yes I know Ram came before Krishna, but according to the mythology , Krishna was suppose to come before Ram.
But you can make a link between Kurama if you want i have no problem. I'm simply analyzing the similarities. Hashirama being hailed as a "fairy tail" "god of Shinobi" all just support my point.
Rama also relates to darkness.
(More you know lol)
