Undoing Edo Tensei

I don't think so. Itachi is trying to have Kabuto release the Edo Tensei itself, not just the summoning that brought them out of storage. Releasing the Edo Tensei itself involves sending the souls back, which would require Kabuto reacquiring the DNA and new living sacrifices to resummon them. The misconception that people have is that summoning the caskets is Edo Tensei, but that is just a method of storage and moving the bodies around when they are not being used.

I see. I see. I didn't know using the DNA was a one time deal. :shrug: Also I figured he would have to get more live peeps since once the edo is released the body that was used is dead.
