Undeveloped character stories

I think Kishi just neglects his characters when he's done with them, series like Naruto have VERY strong characters that even the least important one can still have an amazing story.
Here are things id personally love to see !

Akatsuki members:
-Kakuzu's past (prison and fight against Hashirama)
-Deidara's story
-Kisame's origin (parents, villages)
-Hidan's past (Jashin and his origins)

7 Swordsmen : This would be a great story to know each swordsman's origin.

Other Kages : Would be great to know a lot more about the other Kages

Secondary Characters: Characters like Karin, Suigetsu, Jugo and others have very interesting stories, would be great to hear about them !

Uzumakis we should know more about the Uzumakis especially Mito, her skills and her relationship with the Senju clan !

mangetsu is the only swordsmen i care about but he was offscreened and lacked personality.
i want info on bloody mist.
other villiages seemed like ok places but they fought wars. over what??!

Deep sigh everytime I think about Anko's wasted potential. At least she got a filler arc for her backstory but I wanted to see her actually do something.

That's what fillers are for. Just look at Tenten. For me it has no value, but still...
Though the negligence, lack of depth and waste of potencial is still amazing. Kishi could've focused better.

Fillers are meant to have a whole new plot irrelevant to canon material. If one of the characters i mentioned above are included in a filler, then it would be canon material as it is very important to the series.

Not gonna lie Mai's story would be amazing. We would get an insight into the Kirigakure massacres and see what KKG have been lost in time due to the purges.

Actually, most of the time fillers happen to allow the anime to continue w/o the later having to wait for the manga. They're used to 'fill' time, but can be used as an opportunity to expand a character (in the anime it doesn't matter if its canon or not), which happens quite often.
That's not the definition of canon though. Canon is what stays true to the source material, in other words, the manga. An event isn't more or less canon according to the importance of the characters involved.

I think Kishimoto should have a Naruto Chronicles type side series, where he focuses on expanding on the canon history of Naruto. The first kages, taka background stories, Mito, etc.
