"I-I'll do it..." Alice starts heading back to the nurse's office at a slow pace.

 

[Akatsukii]

Nurse:*walks behind her*He's in the back room I'll get him.*walks into the back room and picks up Matt in her arms before walking back out to Alice*Here he is...if his condition worsens any you should probably take him to the hospital.

"The hospital..... Okay.... Thank you." Alice starts heading back to Matt's room. She chose not to look directly at his face because she had a feeling she would start crying if she did.

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt:*a tear streams down his face while he is still unconscious*

Alice can see the tear fall out of the corner of her eye but she says nothing. As she heads into Matt's room, she carefully sets him down in his bed then kneels beside it. "I feel so useless...... I can't do anything to help and now you're just laying there unconscious..." Alice buries her face in her arms and tries to fight back the tears that are coming but to no avail.

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt:*Lays there completely motionless except for his chest when he breaths*

Alice continues to cry softly and she starts hearing Lacie play over and over again in her head.

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt:*twitches a bit*

She doesn't notice Matt twitch. She wipes her eyes away so that her vision won't be so blurred and she stares up at the ceiling.

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt:*stirs awake and opens his eyes*

 

[shycatgirl00]

"Matt!" Alice hugs him and smiles.

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt:*hugs her back*Hey...what happened?How did I get here I thought we were outside?

 

[shycatgirl00]

Alice hugs him a bit tighter. "You passed out..... I was really worried about you...."

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt:I passed out? I guess I am worse off than I thought...I'm sorry I worried you so much.

 

[shycatgirl00]

"It's okay." Alice tries to smile reassuringly.

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt:Are you sure? You look like you've been crying alot.

 

[shycatgirl00]

"I have been crying...." Alice's smile morphs back into a sad face.

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt: Oh *hugs her tight*I'm sorry...

 

[shycatgirl00]

She rests her head on his shoulder and closes her eyes. "Why are you sorry?"

 

[Akatsukii]

Matt:...because I made you worry.
