Alice stops walking and takes the clay dove off of her head. She takes a deep breath and tries her hardest to refrain from stuttering or shivering. "Okay...."
"I don't really want to talk about it. I'm not really sure how to say it." she frowns and doesn't look up. Her finger traces over the grooves in the clay that show the details made to express the dove's feathers.
Her face reddens but since she was looking down, it was hard to see. "I......I like you a lot......." Her voice was extremely quiet. If a breeze had went by when she spoke, no one would've known she said anything at all.
Alice nods and takes a step back. "Yes......." She didn't even know Matt was blushing. There was no way Alice was going to face Matt after admitting how she felt.
"Honestly, I have no idea. I shouldn't be feeling this way towards anyone. Chains aren't commonly known to feel affection toward people." Alice takes another step back.
