Hasn't been seen in the manga since the battle with Obito, but I'm assuming that's because he needed something stronger
He clearly uses this mode in the last mixed with sage mode

Here we see bijuu, in which Naruto has access to Kurama's fool power
Naruto can choose whether to use this form or manifest an actual Kurama avatar depending on the situation
However the avatar isn't needed to be in bijuu mode just an added bonus of having the cooperation of Kurama
Naruto can also combine sage mode with this creating BSM

After receiving chakra from the sage Naruto gains RSM
Which requires the cooperation of all the tailed beast inside him
The difference here is he now has TSB and the use of chakra rods

In the most recent chapter it is clear that Naruto is using BSM because there are no truth seeking balls
The fact Kurama is the only one showed on a panel hints at this as well
If you pay close attention to the cloak it's a similar to that of BSM

So please let's stop saying its RSM because the Kurama avatar is not shown
BSM does always use the Kurama avatar we've seen that before he could only sustain that avatar for brief moments (not saying that's the case now) while still being in BM

But if I consider some of the logic you guys are using I would say that this isn't RSM either because this Kurama avatar didn't manifest

No,truth seeking balls aren't the only indicator of rsm otherwise Bsm naruto was the one beating injured Madara but he only had half kurama so the power increase wouldn't make that much sense. When Naruto fought Madara he initially used a tsb lacking rsm just like today. That is the only explanation for the missing eye shadow as even when he used toad and last chapter his eyes gained pigmentation

Cloak doesn't matter it's influenced by Kuramas dominance not senjutsu, the only sure indicator of rsm is No eye shadow plus senjutsu otherwise bsm naruto was fighting Rikudou madara and sensing his limbo

Naruto gained knowledge from the sage. He knew how to use the tailed beasts chakra that was in him, which explains why he's using that technique and could sense the oncoming attack. It's clear that once Naruto came back he was on another level with or without RSM on top of that Madara was still recovering from getting his ass whooped and had one eye, he definitely was at his best making Naruto being in a heightened BSM and dodging his attack even more obvious.

The fact of the matter is the change in the look of the cloak and the TSB is the most obvious way of telling the difference period

I really dont care if it is RSM or BSm. Naruto has had his power for years. WHy wouldnt he develop and get used to it?
RSM or BSM or letalone BM, he still is Naruto, no overthought difference at all.

Naruto first has Sage Mode. Then Bijuu Mode. Then Combined to have Bijuu Sage Mode.
RSM is a heightened state.

We'll know if it's RSM if he has his skin color unchanged...

It still is just BM to me.
