Spirit Transformation Technique: This technique allows the user's spirit to materialise and leave his body, which is then able to take possession of a target, enabling them to freely manipulate the victim's body at will. Dan Katō noted that this technique had been used to kill a great number of shinobi during his lifetime.

This is such a OP technique. ^_^.

What would happen if one of the enemies stabbed you whilst in the comrade's body? Would you die or return back to your original body?

It's extremely dangerous in a one on one match against someone even then though it leaves his body vulnerable. Isn't it just like Ino's mind control anyway. Though yes, it's kinda underrated.

In one on one it would be good. 3 on 1 not so much.

not really. Since it hasn't stated any importance of the body itself. He can actually go possess another body, leaving his own. While Ino's clan's ability is stopped by the killing of the original body.

This one is Transfer your own soul, vs Mind.

Hmm. Indeed, it looks overpowered. U_U
Maybe not as much as Kamui or Kotoamatsukami, but I'd say it's not far below.
