"Kirin has scars..." Ieyasu sighs. "Can we stop this conversation?"

Kirin remains silent and puts her hood on over her head, listening to music.

 

[Akatsukii]

Hunter sighs

"Sorry,I realize it must be a touchy subject."

 

[shycatgirl00]

"Yeah...." They both say quietly at the same time.

 

[Akatsukii]

Hunter sighs once more as he sits down

"So,what about your dad? Was he around?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

Kirin nods. "Yeah, he was okay."

 

[Akatsukii]

"Did he ever do anything to stop your mother?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

"He tried...." She sits in a chair.

 

[Akatsukii]

"What happened?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

Kirin goes silent.

Ieyasu looks at Hunter. "You should stop asking."

 

[Akatsukii]

"Its that bad huh?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

Kirin nods slowly and Mio whimpers.

 

[Akatsukii]

"Well,I guess I won't ask anything more about your family...wait one more."

 

[shycatgirl00]

Kirin looks up at Hunter. "Hm?"

 

[Akatsukii]

"If you guys hated your mother and she hated you...why did your brother make you that necklace?"

 

[shycatgirl00]

"He didn't give it to me for that reason and I didn't hate her....." she mumbles softly before getting up and walking away from Hunter and her brother.

 

[Akatsukii]

Hunter looks at Kirin puzzled as she walks away

"So why did you give her the necklace?"

He looks at Ieyasu

"To be honest, I was surprised she was happy I gave it to her. Our mother was really harsh but no matter how mean she was, Kirin couldn't seem to hate her in any way, shape or form." The day our mom died I found this necklace in one of my drawers and assumed our mom had accidentally dropped it in there without noticing. I was going to trash it but Kirin was so, I guess, amazed by it that I ended up giving it to her instead. She always had it since and to this day, I'm not entirely sure why." Ieyasu looks over at Kirin who was sitting in a corner holding Mio. She looked like she was trembling a bit.

 

[Akatsukii]

Hunter frowns as he looks back at Kirin in the corner

"Mabye I should cheer her up a bit...since this was my fault."

"Good luck with that." Ieyasu pats him on the back then goes over to get something to drink.

 

[Akatsukii]

He walks over to Kirin and sits next to her

"I'm sorry about bringing up bad memories."
