He is underestimating Shin already and lets his sword get grabbed by Shin then jumps into Naruto's cloak indangering Naruto and Sarada even though he isn't aware of it thinking its all good.

Becuz of that Naruto took a hit even though he healed in seconds it could of been Sarada but Shin wanted to eliminate the biggest threat.

He underestimated him so much that his wife had to come in and save him becuz his movements were restricted by Shin. He should of let Naruto fight instead becuz unlike Sasuke Naruto doesn't have a sword Shin could take control off therefore making his MS ability useless and Naruto would rekt him. Sasuke had to sit back and protect his daughter but I understand Naruto. He is Hokage and he must protect his children. Yes Sarada is his family everyone in the Leaf is.

Not really underestimate, but arrogance where sasuke (perhaps more uchiha ie madara) overestimate their abilities so they figure the opponent is easy. Although psychic tenten was pathetic

He didn't use Susanoo earlier because his MS and Rinnegan were on recharge from dimension hopping. They explained this in Orochimaru's hideout.

Anyone? Naruto doesn't use a weapon. He uses his body/Kurama arms nothing Shin could take control of.
