Under featured characters

This actually started from me thinking about the jonnins of the hidden leaf and I realized aside from Kakashi and Gai they are not very well featured. Not just in terms of story but also in combat.
Kurenai the genjutsu specialist fought was against Itachi and she got her own genjutsu turned against her.
Chouza I can only remember one fight scene with him and it was with kakashi against Pein
Shizune- Really? What has she ever done. She's never been impressive not even her her one fight.
Shikaku- During emergencies he's present but in actual combat when do we see him?
Inoichi- We've never seen him in combat
Asuma- The one time he was ever given to shine failed pretty badly.
Neji- he was once featured when he was 12. I'd like to see how he's grown now
Neji's uncle- I don't even know his name
Konohamaru's instructor- We've never seen him do anything amazing
Now leaving Jonnins what about people like
Iruka Umino- I've always wondered what he could do or atleast why he is a chunnin
Anko Matarashi- Before now the last time she was mildly relevant was during the chunnin exams years ago. And even now she's not really fighting
Tenten- yeah doesn't get airtime. I think the idea of a weapon specialist was cool until Kishi realized with the powers he's given to other characters weapons are as much use without other jutsus to rely upon
Kiba- He was a good character but post time skip?
Konohamaru- He has that one rasengan and that's it how has he and his team progressed
Anbu- Their supposed to be so l33t but compared to everyone else they don't really seem that special.
Am I the only one who thinks these people should get more screen time. I mean people like Kurenai (after she gives birth (how long has she been pregnant anyway)), Shizune, Anko, Iruka, Konohamaru and the Anbu black ops

ANBU sucks. They couldn't save the 3rd Hokage from a barrier held by 4 genins...

I wish we could see more of Neji, Hinata, Lee, Ino, and Shino.

Shino and Neji the most. Two badasses in part 1 went Ghost in shippudden.

You're not alone, but get used to it cause it's probably not going to change. I'd say at least 90% of the entire cast is underutilized.

Team Kurenai in generall went ghost since the timeskip, they haven't done anything. Which sucks cos they were decent characters in part 1. Also according to the databook kiba apparently learnt a move called 'whirlwind fang' during the timeskip, which is described as something he developed to protect his friends. I would love to actually see him use it, and the war would be a good time. But in saying that, that would require him to get screen time and we all know kishi hasn't been doing that <insert kishi troll face>

I would love to see all the gennins and the other a little bit more on the screen.
I mean when Kiba fought that guy from Oro's troups (can't remember the name) and he unleashed his new jutsu I was like 'woooooow'

In terms of good action, the first part was waaay better than shipuuden, honestly.

I thought that the war would give Shino,Kiba and Hinata some screen time,but... u.u
