The prediction being that Dragon will die before the final war.
I know its uncanny to think so but hear me out, we all heard WB's speech that when OP is found some great war will ensue btwn those who find OP and the WG so from that knowing that this is a story not real life and that the story is about Luffy more than anyone I dont see Oda writting it with the Revs taking down WG before Luffy becomes Pk, coz that way the final war wont come ryt(seeing as revs r more or less alligned with Luffy).
Now I just think having Dragon in the final war or not wont b that much different as he will have to b taking a back seat kinda role in that Luffy is the one who will b the more prominent one in that war but I wld say having him there and taking a back seat role wld b kinda unrealistic coz taking down WG is like his dream(figure of speech so dont ask me for proof of this, cool) and of course Dragon is Luffy's dad and he wld b proud of Luffy still but to me that wld b like wasting a charecter.
I know some r already thinking "well isn't killing one also wasting?" but no coz it depends on how he dies, yes if he does a Kuina and does himself in on some stairs or someother unseemingly kind of death but if maybe he goes down in battle or in maybe a full out Rev-WG war then no coz his death cld b used to impact the story that much more. Think about it if Dragon dies we may have some Revs losing hope and some that much more eager to take down the WG especially the high ranking types.
Further more looking at Sabo and his re-introduction and guestimating his strenght then plus adding the Mera Mera to that and then considering his given position I cld see all that as tools to make Sabo the best man to pick up the pieces(of the Revs) and take over after Dragon coz he has ties to Luffy so it wld b smooth relations btwn SH n Revs so in the final war we dont have smthing like this in DR where everyone wants to KO the big Bad themselves, there will b cooperation btwn the Revs n the SH plus the miscreants that will b following Luffy(Fanboys n Pirate alligiances).
As to who does Dragon in I have no clue but maybe Gorosei(maybe he kills 2 of them in the process too and we are shown how an unimaginable feat that is coz maybe gorosei pple far surpass what we have seen so far/ are WB lvl so taking on 5WB lvl combatants and killing 2 wldnt b too dissapointing a feat ryt).
What I know for sure is Revs wont b taking down WG so anything else is possible so yo thoughts pliz.
