Its said that in sage mode threat perception and overall power is boosted up..also one can feel presence of chakra around...as naruto could of hinata and not of kakashi...Then why Jiraya couldnt sense Asura path who tore his hand and why he couldnt feel orignal nagato and his chakra in pain becoz he was with nagato for 3yr so he would know his chakra signature..

he did but not with help of sage mode but by seeing every pains face..

True. Then I'd have to go with the other post on here that he didn't have a perfected sage mode.

OR he just didn't have time to focus on the chakra signal or just didn't think about it. Remember that Naruto was impaled on the ground but didn't track the signal at the time. He figured out he could do that later in the fight.

may be the reason but incomplete SM was related with inability of jiraya to properly infuse it with his own chakra..and also there were fukasaku and shima they are 800 yr old perfect sages..

actually jiraiya couldnt tell because pain and nagato had the exact same chakra, even naruto couldnt tell until he used the rod to backtrack where the chakra was being transmitted from. and i think he did feel asura paths chakra but was too late to react to it because jiraiya wasnt expecting another pain to appear because they all have the same chakra etc.

Well i'm agree with u. But each path have same chakra,may be thats why he couldnt sense it.

I think it's cause he didn't perfect sage mode. Naruto said hen he first got back to konoha that he mastered sage mode and is IN CONTROL of the natural energy around him. Something jman never mentioned.

Yea J-man didnt completely master Sage mode and so he wasnt that perfect in detecting the chakra or recognizing the chakra of anyones like Naruto did and the piercings made Yahiko not that easy to recognize maybe beacuse of that he didnt recognize Yahiko's body in the form of Deva path.
