Un-answered Question About the Six Paths of Pain

Well in this picture we see that J-Man nor the toads know how more than one person have the Rinnegan other than Nagato. So thinking about this, we never really got an explanation on how there can be so many Rinnegan's other than Nagato's.

This picture shows all of the Sharingan Tobi had collected (most likely from the Uchiha massacre), so that explains how he later implanted more Sharingan in himself and the jinchuuriki.

But my question is this: How did both Nagato and Tobi implant multiple Rinnegan when there is only one pair?

I think he created Rinnegans and transplanted them. Because the original Animal Path was dead, and the Konoha nin were looking at the rods, he still had Rinnegan

There was only one pair of Rinnegan and Obito hasn't utilized his spare Sharingans since his fight with Konan.

I believe it's similar to how the Edo Jinks were able to use their Bijuu without it being sealed in them: The imbedded chakra rods reflected the wielder's powers into the bodies, i.e., Rinnegan.

When The rinnegan holder uses the jutsu "6 paths of pain" he needs to control the 6 bodies completely/partially...may be through chakra rods or chakra chains...and when he controls the 6 paths the rinnegan automaticallu appears on the 6 paths...even u can see rinnegan in the summons as The summons also have the chakra rod embedded in them....so its not like tobi gave the jinchriki 6 rinnegans...when he initiated the jutsu and took control the rinnegan appeared in both eyes...then he removed one eye and added each path with one sharingan....

The Paths got the Rin'negan because it reflects the eyes and abilities of Nagato. It still possessed it for an unknown reason -possibly Nagato was unknowingly giving chakura to the dead corpse. Tobi has so many Sharingan because of the Uchiha Clan Massacre. There are only one pair of Rin'negan - Madara possessed them, Nagato got them, Obito took both but only uses one and Madara was Edo'd with a Pair.

Same way like, the Edos, when Kabuto takes control, their eyes change... When Nagato takes control over these bodies, the eyes change if you try to steal the eyes from one of the six bodies, you will end up with just an ordinary eye

No. Pain was about to do the same thing to Naruto after Pain pinned Naruto down.
You insert enough chakra rods into the target and then look at them.
After that, their eyes will turn into the Rinnegan and you'll share their vision.

If Pain would've successfully cdid this, then Naruto would have temporary Rinnegan eyes.

...Just like how the paths have Temporary Rinnegan eyes.

I thought it was just Nagato's chakra being sent into each corpse, heavily influencing them. And his chakra then allowed each body or path to use a specific ability.

Same with what happened to the Edo Tensei path that Obito had.
