I'm your senpai? XDYooooooooo
Sup man? xD
But yeah, explain to me in your own words, what is chakra, and the concept of ninjutsu. Differentiate between shape and nature manipulation o-o.
Also, why are only some people ninja? Why isn't everyone jumping forty meters (lol), and shooting fire balls?
I know, I'm asking a lot but you're my senpai :T_T:
Wow I felt like the Sage of Sixth Paths was giving me a private lesson, that was very informative ty so much! *_*Ignore that last part >.>
Good, but remember. There is no such thing as elemental ninjutsu. You simply mould chakra in a particular way, so that it takes on certain characteristics of an element. For example, by making your chakra vibrate at high speeds, you get raiton chakra. It's just simply manipulating your chakra in advanced ways to create elements.
Chakra is the combination of spiritual and physical energy which exists in our bodies. This physical energy exists within every single cell of the body, and can be honed through general exercise. The physical energy, is like the yang. The life giving physical energy that is required for life, the first side of the coin so to speak. On the other side, is the Spiritual energy that comes from within. This energy, like the Yin, is dependant on the user's own imagination. Thus, it can be honed through study, and meditation. All living things contain chakra, although Shinobi can manipulate it and have weaponised it. This chakra constantly flows through the body, through the chakra circulatory system. This chakra circulatory system is, to a certain extent, connected to our own vital organs. This was shown when Neji Hyuuga attacked chakra points near the heart, yet did a lot of damage to the heart itself. It's somewhat based on the circulation of blood in real life.
Chakra itself is rarely seen, although when performing extremely powerful condensed jutsu (like Raikiri), charka can be seen to an extent with the naked eye. In most other situations however, it requires someone to have a sensory, which will allow them to see the chakra quite clearly, even being able to distinguish between different people. In addition, as pointed out by Karin chakra seems to have a reliance upon the user's own emotions. For example, when Sasuke was angry and upset, Karin described his chakra as 'Dark' and 'Intense'.
Now as I've said before, our spiritual energy is dependant upon our own imagination and knowledge. While the Physical energy, depends strongly on our bodies' phsycial condition. So in order to use Ninjutsu, these energies must be in perfect balance. The user uses the Spiritual Energy to think and envision what he wants to do, and then use his Physical energy to give it shape and actually make it happen. By using handseals as a medium, we are able to then perform feats which are normally extremely difficult to do or even impossible, such as walking up a wall. This is called Ninjutsu. Now, Ninjutsu stems from Ninshu, which was what the sage wanted to use in order to bring people together, connecting them. Instead, it was used to bridge the physical and spiritual energies, and weaponised by people who became known as Ninja or Shinobi.
There are two ways to mold chakra in order to perform Ninjutsu techniques. Shape Manipulation, which manipulates the form of raw chakra in order to aid us in battle, and to accomplish basic things. This can also be applied to objects, through the principle of chakra flow. That is enhancing the properties of ninja tools, and weapons by infusing them with our own chakra. For example, Asuma Sarutobi uses this in order to enhance the properties of his knuckle knives. By infusing them with chakra their reach, cutting power, and durability are all increased. The other way of molding chakra, is nature manipulation which acts to change the actual properties of chakra itself through various means. For example, by causing your chakra to vibrate at high frequencies, you create Raiton chakra which has various numbing and paralsying properties. One can even mold two elemental natures at the same time to create a new elemental nature with some of the properties of both elements, an example would be lava release which is a combination of earth and fire.

Description: With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.
Now these jutsu all utilize ninja weapons. Thus, they fall under the broad category of Bukijutsu, or weapon techniques. They are all dependant upon your use of basic tools, so it's important to mention that your bio carries these weapons. Some of these jutsu require chakra such as the giant shuriken technique. That's because they either enhance the damage of the weapons, or apply some effect tk them that can't normally be done. Now a lot of these techniques can be done with freeform, so what's the use of using a jutsu? If they can be done freeform, why waste the jutsu slot to perform them? And finally, in what type of situation would you use this type of technique? Perform them all please. Ask questions btw, if you have them xD.
Because the technique states short range it means it can only travel as far as 5 meters. So I would use this in close combat when my hands and feet are busy. My only question would be how do I call the senbon into my mouth, do I have to place them there or are they made of chakra? Do I hide them within my throat before hand? We have seen in the anime that some shinobi are good enough to even hide scrolls inside of them. So is this the same thing?(Fukumi Hari) - Hidden Needles

I would use this technique to most likely start my move or use it with a clone (once I learn them!) from a different angle. My question is, would my opponent see me throwing the second one? Or is it like sasuke where he threw them both at the same time but somehow, the first one reached Zabuza way before the second one? Well I am very interested in water techniques as well as the seven swordsmen so I would definitely use this in combination with the hidden mist technique. Well this would be the counter to the E-Ranked technique that allows the user to escape from non-chakra infused ropes. A very cool technique that can be combined with most of the techniques that are stated above. Would I have to state the string in the previous move and then maybe post this technique on the second turn and say I manipulate the shuriken to a different place?(Sōshuriken no Jutsu) - Manipulated Shuriken Techique

NpWow I felt like the Sage of Sixth Paths was giving me a private lesson, that was very informative ty so much! *_*
Now, Nirvana told me I need to use a technique to counter another technique, so even if we can describe ourselves using basic weapons, using these jutsu gives us the valid reason to defend against other techniques or situations. This means that although they may be weak and basic, their use can bejustified in valid counters against other techniques so long as they are valid.
Because the technique states short range it means it can only travel as far as 5 meters. So I would use this in close combat when my hands and feet are busy. We have seen in the anime that some shinobi are good enough to even hide scrolls inside of them. So is this the same thing?
Performance: Kushimaru begins to run to his target and reach his close range. As he closes in, he swings his sewing needle blade in a horizontal slash. As he does so, he releases a few senbon from his mouth through the small hole of his mask. The needles are aimed to pierce the neck area as the clone deals with the sword slash.
I would use this technique to most likely start my move or use it with a clone (once I learn them!) from a different angle. My question is, would my opponent see me throwing the second one? Or is it like sasuke where he threw them both at the same time but somehow, the first one reached Zabuza way before the second one? How far apart would you say the second one travels from the original one?
Performance: Kushimaru reaches into his backpack and grabs two windmill shurikens which are closed. He then shakes his hand and opens them up at the same time, having them line up perfectly. He then swings his hand out and releases them. He makes sure to aim the bottom shuriken beneath the shadow of the other one, trailing behind in disguise.
Well I am very interested in water techniques as well as the seven swordsmen so I would definitely use this in combination with the hidden mist technique. Dispersing the Makibishi throughout the floor to stop the target from getting near me if he is using something to detect me. Or maybe I would throw them around his area so he cant run away.
Performance: After performing the hidden mist jutsu, I would remember the last location of my target and reach into my pouch, grabbing a hand full of Makibishi to then throw them forward, trying to disperse them around the area of my target should he try to near me.
Well this would be the counter to the E-Ranked technique that allows the user to escape from non-chakra infused ropes. That means that with this technique the user wont be able to use the first technique to escape. I would use this technique to capture my opponent after he has passed out or something along those lines so that I may take him hostage to my village.
Performance: After having knocked the target unconscious, I would reach into my bag and grab a black rope. As I grab it I channel chakra throughout and continue to wrap it around the limbs of my target. I manipulate my chakra so it makes it hard for the rope to unfold.
Even though the technique is short range, can the enlarged shuriken travel to a longer range or will it only stay enlarged in short range from me? Also, how big would the shuriken get? Like what can I compare it to? Ive encountered inside pars in the village the shadow shuriken clone technique. Could one use that technique to multiply the enlarge shuriken?
Performance: As I reached to my bag in order to grab two windmills in order to perform the shadow combination, I then channel chakra throughout the top one. As they are both thrown, I cause the top one to enlarge itself into a very big one while still having the bottom one traveling behind it, although still small.
A clone could use this technique to release a barrage of kunai and constantly keep the target distracted as the main person uses another technique to attack. My only question is, what is the logical number of kunais that can be thrown? Since our ninja pouches cant hold many. Would we need to use the same seals as sasuke?
Performance: Using the resources of the kunais in my pouches, I start reaching with my right and left hand in a very fast pace, switching on and off between my hands as I throw kunais one by one in a large and fast barrage of them.
A very cool technique that can be combined with most of the techniques that are stated above. I would use it with maybe the enlarged shuriken in order to manipulate it if my opponent decides to change range. Would I have to state the string in the previous move and then maybe post this technique on the second turn and say I manipulate the shuriken to a different place?
Performance:
As I threw the shadow shuriken that I enlarged, I also made sure to have it attached with a translucent string. After enlarging it, I moved my finger and caused the shuriken to circle around my target as the other windmill that was following in the shadow of the first continues forward to strike from two different angles.
No no more questions! I'm just a bit said that I have to post the technique for the string in the first post, it means they will know of my sneak attackNp.
Yeah, he's right for the most part. But you can counter most taijutsu using basic freeform.
Answers to Questions:
Good question, no you literally summon them into your mouth lol, but it's done passively and very quickly.
Nope, opponent doesent see you throw them both, it looks like you just threw one. I'd say the two shuriken are close enough that it's not obvious, but far enough that the reaches the opponent before the second.
It goes fromYou must be registered for see linkstoYou must be registered for see links
Shadow shuriken doesent work like that, only tags carry over. You'd have to spend a move to enlarge each and every shuriken if you wanted that.
Ok I think you have this jutsu confused with something else o-o. The jutsu you might be referring to is what he used against Itachi to summon multiple ninja tools and throw them at a rapid rate. That was a Fuuin jutsu, where he literally sealed a variety of ninja tools for storage and easier access. That jutsu is in the sealing jutsu list.
Logically you aren't carrying an unlimited number of ninja tools, so the average ninja pouch can hold around 13-15 kunai. Don't use more than that in this jutsu, and you'll be fine.
No in the same turn you would say that you have the shuriken wrapped in wire, and then you throw it. You post it in that turn. Let's say the opponent then dodged the shuriken in his turn. On your turn, you would say that you jerk your finger slightly, and the shuriken changes direction and again tries to impale you.
Any more questions?
(Kanashibari no Jutsu) - Temporary Body Paralysis Technique
(Sakki) - Killing IntentRank: D
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra:15 (-5 per turn)
Damge Points:N/A
Description: Kanashibari no Jutsu is a simple Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an animal (or animals). With the target frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat. It can only be used against animal (summons or not) and works by forcefully using your chakra to restrain the summon physically by holding it in place. It can, however, be broken by outside means or brute force, making it less effective against bigger summons like boss summons or similar.
Note: lasts only as long as the user is focusing on the target to sustain it.
Rank: D - S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: N/A
Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.
Note: Intensity of technique depends on the rank of the user, distance to target and number of targets one is focusing on
Note: Can only be used once
Note: Lasts only while the user is focusing on it and while focusing on it the user can't mold chakra
Ok, these jutsu are both used to use your chakrs to bind a living thing to your will and to prevent it from moving. The first only works on animals, and summons. The second however, works on humans. The first will paralyze an animal despite rank, although the second is very dependant on rank. It should also be noted, that the first depends om size. It will work well on smaller summons, like Ma and Pa. But summons like Gamabunta will be able to easily break this.
Can I perform physical actions while focusing my chakra on the animals? Like, can I bind them in place while I swing my sword to try and slash them?(Kanashibari no Jutsu) - Temporary Body Paralysis Technique

Rank: D

Description: The user will hurl kunai with pouches attached at their target. Upon impact, the pouches explode, releasing small explosive notes. Due to the large number of kunai thrown, a shower of notes will rain down on the target. The user will then throw one final kunai with an active explosive note at the target. It will begin to burn, and by igniting the falling smaller notes it will cause a gigantic explosion.
With the above jutsu, you cause cherry blossoms to materialize all around the opponent. After materializing them around him, cause them to swirl all around in a tornado of sorts so that his vision becomes limited. While they are confused by the sakura petals, throw a large number of small explosive notes, as well as one large note which detonates the smaller ones. This causes a large scale explosion, and kills everything caught in it.
YAY!! I get to learn two of the most anticipated techniques that I wanted to learn! Well, mostly the silent killing one =]You materialize the cherry blossoms with your chakra. You manipulate your chakra into the shape of cherry blossoms, not actual cherry blossoms lol.

(Muon Satsujin Jutsu) - Silent Homicide Technique
Rank: D
Type:Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points:20
Description: Muon Satsujin Jutsu, the ability to commit a silent homicide, is a technique to dispatch your foe with no warning. Your quick speed and skills will instantly kill them before they can provide a defense. Best tactic is when used with Hidden Mist jutsu. The technique works by having the user focus his chakra and his complete attention on moving fluidly, rapidly but muffling any sound he may make while moving as well as his presence, etc. It doesn't suppress his chakra or hides it but it can make the opponent virtually undetected if he manages to get on the opponents blind spot.
Silent jutsu, perfect for a more stealthy approach to a battle. The first allows you to project your voice into a different area to fool or confuse an opponent who may not know your location. This can be used to mask your actual location. The second jutsu will through the use of chakra, make it impossible for the opponent to hear where you are since you use your chakra to muffle any sound that you make. Thus, it's the perfect jutsu for assassination, just ask Edward. Now these two jutsu compliment each other really well, so why don't you make a combination of three moves using these two ninjutsu in a stealthy manner.
Yeah it seems that, it looks perfect!Canon ninjutsu is like a stealth fighter's wet dream o-o.
And no, you can't project your voice from underneath the ground. However it can be projected while your in the air xD.
(Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu) – Haze Clone Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 10
Damage N/A
Description: Haze clone technique is like the regular clone technique in creating intangible clones, although these clones will let the enemy go through them without being dispelled or released. Doujutsu can see through these clones as unlike Shadow Clones, they are intangible and lack any form of chakra circulatory system, chakra flow, etc; they are simple images made by chakra. They cannot do harm to any enemy but can be used to communicate and distract the enemies. The clones can be created anywhere within the users sensory field.
Ok, so this jutsu is also quite cool for a more stealthy and sneaky fighting style. Use your chakra to create a copy of yourself that the opponent will assume is a regular clone, or possibly your real body and most likely attack. They are completely intangible, so the opponent's attacks will phase straight through them. At that point they'll most likely figure out that these aren't real clones, and stop worrying about them xD. But at the very least, these can be created anywhere for a low chakra cost so they can at least be distractions. Just don't use them directly in front of the opponent, since at that point they'd know something is up lol.
I'll get back to you on these o-o.- Does it count to the rule of 4 shadow clone techniques per battle?
- Can I create more than 4 clones with this technique, just like the Hidden mist ninja in the chunnin exams? Or is it restricted like the shadow clones?
Ty for the answers!I'll get back to you on these o-o.
- Is the opponent able to notice in this RP that they aren't real clones because we are restricted to short range clone usage? And if so, is that fair? I hope not!
Logically not, if you materialize them behind him. Since they wouldn't know when that clone was created xD.
- They can still block my target's view right? I know it's a stupid question but yeah. They seem to be like Clones that basically have Obito's Kamui active, no?
Correct.
- Can I perform other techniques while they are active? And if so, can I still perform other techniques to "reform" them? Since they can't be dispelled, it's just a matter of me stopping my focus on them?
Yeah, but they are literal images made of chakra, like holograms. So you don't expend chakra to cause them to reform, and they don't require chakra to keep active.
Therefore, you can 'banish' them at any time.
Alright now let me get a 3 jutsu move combination using some of the jutsu you've learned here!
(Fuda Kakusu no Jutsu) Tag Hidding TechniqueIt doesent count towards 4 clone limit, make as many as you want.
(Fuda Kakusu no Jutsu) Tag Hidding Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 5 (per tag)
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will use his chakra to hide a paper tag inside an inanimate object, like the ground or a wall. The tag can be a sealing tag or an explosive tag. The technique can be used to hide more than one tag per use if the user spends more chakra. Hidden tags can be detected by doujutsu or expert sensory ninjas.
(Soryu no Mai) - Rising Dragon Dance
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user jumps up in the air and then spins at high speed throwing a lot of weapons at thier enemy ranging from shuriken, kunai, shuko and many various other weapons.
The first one is actually pretty cool, even if a little simple. You can also use this to hide your explosive tags into inanimate objects such as the ground. They won't be seen unless your opponent can sense chakra, or has a dojutsu. These explosive tags can then be detonated later. For the second jutsu, jump high into the air and grab most if not all the weapons in your ninja pouch, and spin around. As you spin, release all the weapons at the opponent.
Yes, trees are alive and move so they'd be animate.(Fuda Kakusu no Jutsu) Tag Hidding Technique
How I would use it: I would use this technique to hide an explosive tag on the ground. I would then later use it to manipulate that very same earth and create a dragon of earth or something similar, having it already incorporated with the explosive tag. If not, I would slap it on as my earth release technique comes forth.
Performance: Whilst spying on his target, Kushimaru roamed around the forest, laying a complex field of wires with his Nuibari. While doing so, he also hid behind trees. Behind those trees he planted explosive tags which he then concealed by applying chakra to them, causing them to sink into the objects. (Are the trees considered, alive? If that's the case, Kushimaru would plant them on dead logs.)
(Soryu no Mai) - Rising Dragon Dance
How I would use: I would use this in combination with the hidden mist jutsu if I had no way to find out the location of my target. It would allow me to hit a large wide spread area around me, eliminating any possible flanks in the process. I could also use this if my opponent makes clones to rush me from multiple directions.
Would the clones have to use a jutsu to defend against it? Since I am using a jutsu to release the weapons?
Performance: After laying his deadly trap of wires and explosive tags, Kushimaru leaps into the air and jumps off of a tree, allowing himself to get higher. As he does so, he reaches into his pouches very fast, drawing any type of projectile he is currently holding. In his launching motion he spins his body clockwise, releasing all the projectiles in a wild barrage that has a wide spread. The wide spread would hinder the target's ability to run away. Thanks to the field of wires placed beforehand with his Nuibari, running would even be more futile while escaping through the air might become deadly should Kushimaru detonate the tags hidden within the trunks/trees.
