It's not just that.
I say openly, "he did it just because of Rin".

However, when I say that I mean this;
He has been around the Shinobi World for 30+(?) years and there was no other incident which also helped impact his decision? No other incidents which confirmed his beliefs? No other incidents where he saw people become 'trash'?
I have a HUGE problem with that.
I was seriously expecting (beforehand) Obito to remember some other incidents during his time dwelling around of other stuff that helped reaffirm his beliefs.
It's ridiculous. I have no idea why Kishi has pushed this Rin thing as far as he has.
It makes his character look like a joke.
