[Theory] Ultimate Plot Twist: Sasuke is actually gone.

What if Oro took over Sasuke at some point and has been masquerading as Sasuke the whole time?


It would explain the sudden evilness.


The Oro caught by IT was just a clone, a facade meant to keep everyone from the truth.


Oro even tricked Hagoromo into giving him power by appearing as Sasuke in his own subconcious.


Oro specifically mentioned his true intent right here.

Naruto would have sensed Oro with the fist bump. There is no sudden evilness to Sasuke, he's just as insane as he always was.

Oro will either be the villain in the movie or the new Naruto series if there is one. Too much foreshadowing to end up like this.

Orochimaru has the body of the first Hokage, Dragon Sage Mode, and his own powers so he's no slouch. We'll have to wait and see on the movie or the next generation series if it happens.

Lol this ain't happening. Orochimaru is no longer releavant to this series m8. The series is at its final stage. We're witnessing the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke. There's no way Kishi will disappoint all of us by saying the Sasuke that fought Naruto at VoTE was actually Orochimaru.

This theory will be the best ever. However, I think there is a right way to put it. See this:

1. It is a common assumptions that Orochimaru and Kabuto aren't working together anymore

Yeah, when Oro was resurrected from Anko and did that gesture on Kabuto, he let everyone believe he was disappointed in Kabuto and was following Sasuke. However, Oro actually reiterated that he still wanted Sasuke's body. The only difference is that Oro wants to see how far Sasuke can go ( Sasuke's wind). Thus, we could say that Orochimaru will take Sasuke's body as soon as Sasuke's ideology reach an end, or as soon as Sasuke is about to die.

2. It is another common assumption that Kabuto did not lie when he said that he has changed from Izanami.

However, what if as he said to Itachi, Kabuto was simply being himself - a liar. What if Kabuto and Orochimaru are still working together, and it was a massive plan.

See, when Sasuke was about to die, Kabuto gave him a lot of shits to wake him up. Then, Kabuto came up with Rinnegan possing 9-6 tomoes. What if Sasuke was already given Orochimaru's substance by Kabuto?

3. Perfect planning?

Yeah, if you are not Sasuke's fanboy and you are like me who want a nice plot and ending for this manga, then you will be thrill for such a huge plot twist:

Just at the end of Naruto vs Sasuke, when Sasuke is defeated, Orochimaru emerges from inside and possess the body of the weakened Sasuke.​

That would be so cool!
