Ok, so for those of you who have played Ninja Storm 1 & 2 you have all noticed the huge difference in the Ultimate Jutsu's.

They are nowhere near as cinematic in 2 as they were in 1.

Cyber Connect 2 did this in order to not take the 'flow' away from the fight and give a more fluid feel to it. This is the same reason they took away the clashes. They simply felt it broke the fights up.

What do you think?

Better with Epic Cut-scenes or..
Better with smaller Cut-scenes

the second one is better than the first that person is right it took the flow from the game away from it instead of just fighting none stop. in the first one the game would stop and im button mashing nahh **** that that was cool for the narutos games for ps2 but the ps3 has to be different ninja storm 2 is better than 1

It's better with epic cutscenes.
They should bring back jutsu clashes as well.

I remember on ps2 when I did an ultimate jutsu and me and my cousin would be spinning the analog sticks and mashing buttons. That was the best man, the epic cut scene need to return.

Thanks buddy.

The same for me. I've got really fond memories of battling it out trying to get the ultimate to hit and do the most damage or when the rasengan and Chidori clash. It's like you're reliving the Manga & Anime.
How do they not realise this?
Why would they take that out?
Once you take that away, your left with a great game yeah but it feels more like a regular fighter than the geniune Naruto experience.

I realise it sounds a little naff, but it's what we give them our money for.

I don't actually understand what it is you're trying to say. I'm not being a d**k but could you try and make it a bit more clear? Use punctuation or something please.

Are you saying that I shouldn't get caught in Jutsu?
Are you asking me to show my skills by not getting caught?

Sorry I don't follow... :confused::confused:

its not needed. in the first one when u were caught in the UJ if you pressed more buttons then the other guy you would escape im saying forget that if yuo caught in the UJ there shouldnt any escaping it period. thats why the second one was so great because you couldnt escape once caught. now what im saying is instead of relying on the button mashing to get you out of the UJ. how about you just sub dodge before it happens or just not get caught in it at all. and im not being a **** about it either im just saying its not needed anymore.

Ok I get ya. But that isn't what I'm saying. This isn't about the button pressing either, it's about giving people the option to see the big moves they wanna pull off in all their glory.
If you played the 1st, you know that you had more health. When a big move landed, you did have the option of pressing buttons etc but the thrill was watching this epic scene unfold and a HUGE amount of damage being done. Not just 40% of one bar, nah. These things took 1 bar and a half!!
If you didn't like the button pressing, that's a different matter altogether and feel free to make another thread about that.
But yeah, thanks for clarifying what you meant :)

lol, i think even if you didn't see it all, the experience of knowing the move was coming while you were trying to defend was quite exciting. Good point though.

I still loved those big moves, The sand tsunami was so good. It crashes down, lifts, and then BAM!!
