Rashad is one tough dude, even though he lost to Lyoto Machida, he stood up and traded some of the best punches and kicks in the UFC.

Jones advantage is his unorthodox style and his crazy long reach. On top of that, Jones is a much younger fighter. Age, reach and style matters in this fight.

You may be mistaken my dear friend, dont underestimate a fighter.lyoto machida had a better record than shogun and machida still lost.

rashad evans is
wins-17 loss-1 draws-1
lyoto machida
wins-17 loss-3
Mauricio shogun Rua
wins-20 loss-6
jon jones
wins-15 loss-1

ive checked they seem more or less on an equal stand...rashad usualy wins more by decission while jon relies on bough knockouts and submissions.rashad lost againt machida a former champion and impressive striker not easy to win against him...he also won every single fight after that one.jon jones has a carrer that started around 2008 while rashad started by 2004.thats 4 more years of experience, preparation and stuff...and bough of them seem to be sonely prepared for MMa

not as linear as you speak...

What a disappointment, I expected Thiago Silva to win over Alexander Gustafsson. But the undefeated Swedish fighter proved too much for Thiago.

This weekend is the moment of truth.. Jones VS. Evans!

Jon Jones reminds me of Lyoto Machida's rose to stardom. Everybody believed that Machida is unbeatable, but Shogan Rua changed everything. After that lost, Machida never was the same again.

The pressure is on Jon Jones... he has all to lose, and Evans has everything to gain.

What I like about Jones is his versatility and his reach advantage. Jones can pull a guillotine or rear naked choke at all given position, standing up or on the ground.

Jones has the height and reach advantage to Evans, for sure he will use this to his advantage. Evans will for sure close the gap with flurry of punches and kicks. Evans will for sure take the fight on the ground for he has more wrestling experience. The fighter instincts will be a key player.

UFC 145: Evans (0) VS. Jones (1)

Jones reach advantage played a major role in his victory over Evans. Plus his sneaky elbow were hard to counter. Respect was shown from both fighters, no reckless moves from both fighters and everything was systematic.

Now, let's move to the heavy weights!

This coming May, 26, 2012. UFC 146: Junior Dos Santos VS. Frank Mir. Dos Santos first title defense.

The moment of truth has finally come.. this weekend Heavy Weight Champion Junior Dos Santos of Brazil will defend his title belt against Frank Mir.

For the past weeks, Frank's main focus is improving his cardio. Frank's greatest fear is that he will gas out before the 5th round. Dos Santos on the other hand, focuses more in his ground skills. Training with the legendary Noguerra brothers, this will equip Dos Santos the ground skills & techniques needed if the fight has to go to the ground.

My best bet is that Frank Mir, with all his might will take the fight on the ground. This is Frank's forte, he has a world class jiujitsu skills that even submitted Big NOG Noguerra. And for Dos Santos, he must unleash his best boxing prowess, hoping to knock-out Frank. With his improved ground defense, this will buy him ample time to gas out Frank.
