Cause you know. Water. They can be a user without drowning, and can just make a sea to drown anyone. Or something like that.

Not a horrible thought. I myself and several others have wondered about it.


We liked to contemplate that instead of being weak on water the user would be weak on land like Davy Jones (pirates of the carribean) lol!!


If anything, the best we'd get is a Mizu-Mizu Paramecia where you control water. Similarly to River from Akame Ga Kill or Juvia from Fairy Tail.

Water is an element, why would it not be a logia?

Logias can transform their body into the element they use. Turning into water, which is the DF's weakness, doesn't make any sense.
It's easier to see a paramecia, cause the user can control water without having any connection with his body.
OT: I don't think water logia would be so powerful. Plus, Vegapunk was experimenting with Zoans, if I am not mistaken.

Nope, it's pretty much fact. Artificial DF do not come from the sea. IF ADF users can't swim Oda has some explaining to do.

oda could kill luffy from a stray sea stone bullet at the end and just have luffy smile and say "Well I'm Dead" And we would all accept it. Oda doesnt have to explain.
