His expression seems somewhat wrong, probably the sad face, i'd prefer it a straight face as it is in the official manga or as how i would call emo expression. lol :b Nice job overall!

You should try to work cleaner - without the letters in the background. Try to darken the contours and add some shade. And maybe be more free while drawing - it is kind of an entertainment. You mentioned the reason, but the quaility of the pic. matters (photoshop is a way to add some contrast).
Nice job, keep it up.
