You know how you can block people from seeing your VMs right? Well, tell me why I added this person because I heard they were talking shit, I mean, because I wanted to be nosey and see their conversations and crap, but I still can't see them even though, they accepted my friend request thingy, or whatever y'all like to call it. Is this some time of nosey people filter or nah?

Maybe that person doesn't have the VM on? If you see that person talking to others on VM, then somethings wrong. But the logical answer; he/she doesn't have the VM thing on. :)

Odd, Maybe they didn't accept your request? The little plus sign still shows up next to the name even even if they haven't accepted the FR yet since you added them to your contacts by sending a request.
Ohhh, that makes sense.

Y'know, all this is really confusing.
*Waits for Skorm to possibly correct me*

If you get a friend request, you have the option to accept someone as a friend and/or a contact. I think you have to have a person as a contact in order to VM/PM or see their VMs depending on that user's settings. That's how I assumed it work but I'm really not sure. I wonder if that person can see your VMs..

Oh, okay. Don't understand why they made it so complicated though.
They are open just for friends. Had wayy to many losers dropping VM's. ._.

Probably cause of thirsty users. Let a user think they're friends but then they can't talk to them. Some crap like that.

Both Skorm and Drizzy were here and didn't say a word so I'm gonna assume I'm right in what I said.

My assumptions:

If you check your friend list from your User CP, you´ll see a list of people with a check saying that they´re friends.

But, if you uncheck the "friends", that person will still be in your contact list but he´s not your friend, therefore he won´t be able to see your VMs if you had set your profile to friends only. And to that person, it´ll show as that you´re in his contact list (friend list) when you do so

Adding to the above which isn't wrong, To view a convo in VMs you need to be allowed to by both members that are talking. If one is your friend but the other has his profile private you won't be able to see their convo just the same.
