Charisma is a must have skill in this day and age. Maintaining images, including looks, are necessary to even get their foot into opportunities. It's a shame, but if these kids can improve their looks, they can have more opportunities than before.

My personal opinion, is only the boy really benefited from it, the girl with the nose and chin might grow into better looks now.

Feeling helpless is sure a sad feeling, it really makes you think of all ways to solve it without making it worse.

In the end, the best resort is to bear it, if speaking doesn't help. This is what I have done. I do not regret anything of it.
