hey people. Do you happen to know the ufc ? I don't know much about it but I think it is a mixed martial arts sport with no rules. I watched some videos on youtube and happened to see this one



On 5:50 of the video, did REALLY this guy just brake his neck ? (OMFG?)
Is this sport even legal, if people die in there ?
Give me your opinion about this sport, if u know more about it, coz ufc isn't shown in Greece and I don't happen to know much about it.

thier are rules, the old video's dont have rules, but the as it grew ufc has rules now

I love UFC ok it's a little too violent sometimes but it´s a sport sadly like golf I just hate. Like Haven said there is new rules now so they can´t hurt too badly.

The main reason why there are more rules now than before is mainly so it can be legal. UFC/MMA used to be banned in several states, but now that it's regulated on a strict basis, it allows a bit more freedom for it to grow.

I have a VHS of the firt UFC tournament won by Royce Gracie. The product's gone a long way since.

Yeah I like watching UFC. The rules have changed since alot of these fights, like no elbows from certain positions, namely in the back of the head, plus they are a bit more strict on the weight classes now, in the beginning you'd have smaller dudes going against dudes 50lbs heavier than them, but now, for what it is, I think it's a lot safer for the fighters. Also the Refs inside are alot better about stopping a fight if a guy is no longer able to defend himself intelligently, if he sees the guy is getting pounded he will jump in and stop the fight, resulting in a TKO for the guy doing the beating. But knockouts are awesome, but alot of fights end up boring as hell and end by decision. -_-
