I expect similar disappoints with Germany and Spain. Netherlands may be on the verge of elimination if Denmark get one more victory, or if Portugal play well against Germany next and at least draw or beat Netherlands, which they are capable of.

They need a win over Germany and Portugal, or they will still be on the verge of elimnation. Denmark already has 3 points if they win or draw their next two game they will advance. If todays game ends up in a draw, than they still have a chance (Germany VS Portugal).

0-0 going to half time for both teams. So, far the games been a bit quite both teams had chance with Portugal hitting the post from a set piece, and Podolski had two solid chance only to be inconsistence. I guess Wenger is there, so he's a bit nervous knowing his new boss is watching him lol
I'm watching Brazil VS Argentina friendly by far the more entertaining game 2-1 for that if anyone is interest Messi obviously netting both goals and Romulu lone for Brazil.

Well, the game ended 1-0 for Germany with Gomez scoring the winning goal. I have to say the game was quite boring in the first half as both teams seemed a bit nervous guessing Netherlands loss demotivated Germany a little. I must say Portugal did a lot better than I thought and made Germany work for that victory. The last 10-15 mins were solid play from Portugal only being inconsistence.
Ronaldo was quiet that game, Nani surprisingly played a decent game. I thought Khedira was quite well and played key role for that victory. At the end I thought the same thing was going to happen with Germany that happened with Bayern in CL final, but Portugal was inconsistence there. I will still say Netherlands with that loss now have a tough challenge to get out of group stages.
I saw Mou and his kids in the stand, they act just like him lol all were made at one of the foul called by the ref against Portugal. I can see Mou going to coach Portugal after Madrid success if he gets it, or back to England. Portugal may need Mou in order to see some kind of success.
Anyways the friendly between Argentina VS Brazil was going on also, which was by far much more entertaining than any Euro, so far.

Germany looks pretty good; clearly taking the upper hand in this stacked Death Group. With Russia clearly the better team in Group A and Spain, seemingly the favorite in Group C, it'll be interesting to see the team that'll top off Group D.
And Messi is finally taking up his International duties in the last Argentina matches. Brazil's team needs to mature seriously by 2014. Otherwise, they might face the grunt of their home fans.
I was thinking to do that but there's a time-limit to how much I can edit the Main post. By the time, the Final is reached, that time will be expired and hence I wouldn't be able to post all results. Unfortunately, I was away but I just saw the array of misses that Holland produced. All-in-all, it doesn't surprise me since was seeing them as weaker than in 2010 anyways. Sneijder is no more in his class shape. Van Bommel and De Jong are less influential. Affelay is great potential but he's still raw. Robben is still the same ego of star but his performance is that of a downed star due to Bayern's disappointments. Kuyt doesn't play at all and is much older now. And if RVP is in a bad night like he was today, then it's the disaster drop. This is an Orange Jeopardy.
Well, they are in a predicament since they lost against the team who was bile as the 'weakest'. Still, Denmark might spring even more surprises. This group of Death certainly got spicier with Denmark's win. Now, all 4 teams will fight for those 2 places.
The problem with Nani is that he's always decent or poor. I understand that he got Lahm against him but he need to step up his game. His crosses are too wasteful; even if he succeeds in crossing most of the times. Ronaldo dropped too much in midfield to regulate the play. You clearly sense a lack of proper creative playmaker. Sure, they got hardworking midfielders to help the defense but lack that spunk in offense; relying too much on CR7 and Nani. His one cross/kick nailed the post if it was lower would have been in as Neuer was careless on that. CR and Nani were by far the best for Portugal, but still not there good performance.
I'm going to give group D to France, but than England and Sweden can pull upset, Ukraine being home team may have a little advantage. I'll just take a guess/assumption that France finish 1st followed by maybe Sweden/England.
Group B reminds me of 2008 group C which had Netherlands, Italy, France, and Romania. Netherlands always getting the worse group lol
Both teams offence was amazing, but defence was the worst I've seen. Counter attack = success VS either Argentina/Brazil which is what Germany and Netherlands used at South Africa. I give Argentina defence a rating of 2/10 and Brazil around 4/10 were as their attacking can range from 8 or 10 out of 10, and midfield can use a little work. Messi has picked up, but he is every nation target man keep Messi quiet you'll stop Argentina or at least stand 80% to stop them. I hope Argentina pick up, ATM Uruguay is the most promising team in South America followed by Paraguay. Uruguay is second to Spain this month followed by Germany at 3rd and Netherlands at 4th.
Affelay said in the after game interview that Netherlands loss is like Barcelona to Cheslea. He didn't do that bad of a performance considering he was out almost all this season and just returned back, but he will be one to watch for most. The group has just gotten tougher for Netherlands now.
Cryuff said in a interview don't underesitmate Denmark. He said they are a bit stronger than Portugal, due to their team work ability which Portugal lack as you said seeing CR going back to mid and all.
Well, Nani doesn't get that much playing time when you think about it, or at least much encouragement. If he departs this year from United wherever he may go he will see a starting role and may improve well for his sakes and Portugals.

I have a feeling this may also come down to goal difference two or 3 teams maybe tied with points, but one will succeed on goal count. I wouldn't be surprised if all teams come down on goal difference, Holland Beats Germany and draws with Portugal, Germany draws with Denmark, and Portugal beat Denmark making them all have 4 points a piece.
lol The hand ball call was questionable. I mean some may look at it as unintentional, but twice hitting the hand after one another sparks up questions.
Netherlands are a solid team hope shouldn't be lost, but they will need to fight and win now, only hope.
