Correct, mostly, a few notes to add. You can't copy something if you lack the same speciality as the opponent, for example a lightning specialist performing a technique that normally requires several seals, with only a single seal, can't me mimicked because you lack the same proficiency. Also for mimicking techniques they must have handseals, techniques with no seals can't be mimicked. All understood, as that is the way I understood it entirely.
Touching up on what you said about mimicry limits, it’s very simple and logical as there were numerous examples in the show of this. You obviously cannot mimic an element you do not inherently have or have no business using. If I do not have lava release, I cannot mimic a lava technique. Also, I cannot mimic anything over whatever speed I can acquire. If I can move at the speed of Sage mode and someone is performing at the speed of the 7th gate, although trackable, it would not be feasible for me to physically perform at that rate. I can be preemptive with my defenses but I wouldn’t be able to Telegraph my moves at their rate of speed.
Those are basically the mimicking restrictions right there. However if we are moving at the same speed and the opponent uses a fireball jutsu, I am easily able to perfectly mimic and spit out the same technique in response.
That was indeed what I intended to do, that's why I posted it. The eye of hypnotism is indeed the Uchiha's ability to cast illusions using the Sharingan, however there is more to it than simply casting genjutsu, they have effects and powers not afforded to simple genjutsu users. This is one of the best examples of that. So, this is basically what we just went over put into a technique. Unless that is what you meant to do, then there is no need to explain.
Eye of hypnotism, I'm assuming, is the genjutsu capability of the eyes. Upon eye contact, you can put the opponent into a visual genjutsu ranging from something simple, to a tsukuyomi. Word has it, it is also harder to break a visual genjutsu than a normal one, or at least different methods are needed for it to be broken. Simple as that, nothing major. This doubles for mangakyo and eternal mangekyo.
You're currently at 1T but by the time we finish that'll be 3T, so I'm just explaining everything as I would for someone with a 3T. Also correct this is an incredibly underused ability, but with it you can simultaneously reverse a genjutsu on an opponent and free yourself from it. Meaning you essentially have the ability to dictate timeframe instead of responding from the back foot. Generally using time to break a genjutsu without that break being an attack leaves you on the back foot, but not with this.Ah, I understand. I knew that but didn't think it was worth mentioning being that that is one of the more well known things about the sharingan. But understood.
What tomoe am I at?
Well, this is quite the simple jutsu, but useful. All going back to the explanation of what tomoe and the advancement of the sharingan allows, depending on what you have unlocked and what is needed, you can reverse a certain rank of genjutsu back at the user, pinning them in their own illusion. This is what Itachi did to Kurenai.
Depending on what levels of sharingan you have unlocked determines the ranks of genjutsu you can reverse. This does not require eye contact so that makes it very viable especially for someone with a genjutsu infinity that loves using that art. Simple and handy. Usable every two turns. But no real restrictions. Love it.You must be registered for see images
Yeah pretty much, you'll see why I'm getting these ones out of the way first pretty soon.1: Pretty simple, through eye contact you project what appears to be an ongoing battle for the opponent, however the genjutsu puts them to sleep in reality, unbeknownst to them. Rather handy if you can pull it off. Seems like a genjutsu that actually can't quite get picked up on easily because it seems to come off as having a smooth transition.
2: A basic genjutsu that allows you to mimic exploding clones. However there are no clones and you actually create the explosion yourself.
3: Just a jutsu that alters how the opponent makes handseals. The rest is pretty irrelevant. I would probably never use this since there are personally better ways for me to achieve such a thing.
The first one seems like the best. Smooth, short and simple. No drawback and no limit usage or turn usage.
