I think ye' miss the point.. Sasuke usshured in the Uchiha. Without him, there wouldn't be an Uchiha clan. The manga was close to being eye-less.

I totally agree with this op. The uchiha are a major aspect of this manga and brings a lot of depth to its story and plain epicness. Itachi is my favorite character in naruto and he is an uchiha.
