I saw a thread yesterday and someone sayd thats Uchihas dont have strong Katon even if is their identity Jutsu they even called it C-rank jutsu and im wondering does this look like C-rank jutsu

Of course not. You can't be known as a clan of Katon masters and just have C-D rank attacks. They have S-class attacks too.

It was probably me. Now let me be specific once again: the basic fireball jutsu or the firestorm jutsu that has multiple, smaller fireballs shot at an opponent? Those are C-rank jutsus. Dragon Flame is A-rank Fireball and Mekkyaku is probably B-rank. It looks more devastating than other techniques and probably requires a lot more chakra control.

The part about Uchiha's jutsu being inferior wasn't me though. The Uchiha clan have always been renowned for their expertise at fire attacks.

Though if that person said Katon in general, they'd be very wrong, regardless. C-rank denotes average jutsu complexity.

It may never kill anyone, on panel, but it is balanced out with the others. It has its strengths/weaknesses, just like the rest.

Water: Great shark bullet. Huge water technique with ability to suck chakra and grow bigger.
Earth: Earth golem is nice, also those earth plates used vs gedo mazu are impressive.
Lightning: Kirin, nuff said
Wind. FRS, even temari rocks, or if u add gai's technique that uses wind as moving force that tiger w/e.

I know amaterasu is supposedly katon, but im not buying that. Still failed alot. And its not common katon.
So what true katon has???

That first Jutsu you posted was a B-Ranked Jutsu. Whoever said that jutsu is C-D Ranked is trolling. Madara's Dragon Flame Caterwaul is most likely to be B-Ranked while Gouka Mekkyaku is most likely an A-Ranked jutsu.

The Uchihas weren't originators of Fire Release. But they were very skilled with it, considering you have to master the Great Fireball Technique to be considered an adult by the clan's standards.

Well, the first one that Sasuke uses (Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique) is a B-Rank, the other two are not ranked, but I would say that the Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique is B-Rank or higher and the Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation is definitely higher than B-Rank.

Water is strong against fire, while Earth and Lightning have nothing to do with fire.

When speaking about elements stronger than others, you still have to take into account the strength of the technique. A D-rank jutsu cannot overwhelm an A-rank jutsu, even if the D-rank is on the superior element. Dragon Flame and Mekkyaku can do some serious damage and be strengthened by Wind element techniques.

There's no such thing as the weakest element, as one will always outweigh another, they are balanced.
