Yeah Izuna lost his eyes because his brother was selfish. Another point I like to make about the Uchihas is, they weren't such a close nit bunch. I would love to see them on the Jerry Springer show.

I can here the fight bells going off at the beginning of the show...then the fire alams...then the insurance agencies, then the lawyers and Uchiha fight would not do well for business, but very good for ratings xd

I don't know why, but maybe their was a misinterpretation to this story, I don't believe Madara stole his eyes the way Tobi said. I hope there is a way that Izuna can come back into the storyline probably by him not really dying or via Impure World Resurrection Jutsu, so he can tell what really happen.
Well according to tobi, Madara didnt actually steal Izuna's eyes. Tobi said Izuna gave his eyes to Madara.
It doesn't matter if they were given or taken it still shows what must be done within the confines of the Uchiha clan to obtain greater power. Also, lets not forget how Izuna and Madara both killed their closest friends to achieve MS.

Compare two shinobi who are two generations younger then Tsunade.
Tsunade is in her 50s and you're comparing her to a 16 year old and a 21 year old, that's fair right
Tsunade doesn't speak for the entire Senju clan, however, the entire clan that was killed off by a 13 year old does speak for the elite Uchihas.
The Senju clan has not fallen any further then the Uchiha clan.
