it contails details about the sage of six paths, the juubi, the sharingan, MS/EMS and the rinnegan.

Now we all no that the sage of six paths had the rinnegan.

It makes sense for him to document his life, the juubi and his rinnegan on the tablet for his future descendants. But my question is, how does he now about the sharingan, MS/EMS when from what we know he was never in possession of any of these. The sharingan only appeared much later through this guys descendants.

This indicates that it is likely the sage wrote it. Since we know that no uchiha had EMS before madara let alone rinnegan.

So how did the sage know about a doujutsu he didn't have? Is it a mistake on kishis part? or is the sage psychic and has precognitive powers? Is there any logical explanation? You tell me guys.

Yea it doesn't explain about the sharigan and ms and ems. You just need those eyes to decipher it. Since basic sharingan is the farthest from the rinnegan you can only decode little about the tablet. The stronger your eyes become the closer you are to obtaining the rinnegan so with each stage you can decipher more and morw

This^^. The SO6P didn't know about the Sharingan. He never did. The eyes were just a part of Rinnegan as it evolves later to it as said by Madara and Kabuto. Just like Hashirama and Madara were part of SO6P strength. A descendant you could say.

Sharingan is a watered down version of the elder son's eye. The more it devolves the less you can see on the tablet.
