Does anyone else but me have that strange vibe that Shisui Uchiha will make some sort of appearance in upcoming chapters?? He was briefly mentioned in Naruto Shippuden Episode 264, and Kabuto did plan on reviving him but he was unable to locate the body. Itachi also brings him up by saying how Naruto's a lot like him - there is no way Kishimoto would have stated that without reason.

If that's the case, then Shisui has a high chance of getting his own story in the anime, even if it's just one episode. The fact that Itachi brings the name up only gives more reason to have some sort of interlude that tells the tale of Shisui Uchiha.

Besides, I want to hear more of Itachi and Shisui's backstory. One day or another, Kishimoto will have to release Shisui's side of the story whether it involves the Edo Tensei or not~

**Just to warn you, many changes were made to this post, so some of the comments below may or may not confuse those of you who've read this updated post. I apologize - I'm not exactly "coherent" right now~

agreed, shisuis is the character that was the most pondered upon due to his unique abilities

the agreement is on the view that kishi has to reveal the back story of the two

I really dont think that shisui was that strong and from what i understand about edo tensei, i think reviving shisui would be pointless if he were to come back in themstate that he died in... Both of his eyes were gone sometime before his death so idk if he would be revived with it or not, if someone can prove this wrong with facts, that would be much appreciated

True enough but that's not exactly my point. While there is a low chance that Shisui will be brought back by the Edo Tensei, I'm pretty sure that the Edo Tensei hasn't ended just yet. Furthermore, Itachi brought him up when he was talking about how Naruto was a lot like Shisui, and, as I mentioned before, Kabuto was talking about not being able to locate his body. My best guess is that Shisui will be brought into an interlude or side story - a character like him who is linked closely to both Itachi and Naruto should have more story. And as you said, visibly seeing his lifetime up to his death would be a nice treat to any fan of the Naruto franchise.
