I am pretty bored and my shift is about to end at work so I thought I ask a question.
What is the probablity of there being a phoenix sage???
Before you get too judgmental hear me out. Orochimaru already foreshadowed Sasuke's senjutsu susanoo. Also Sasuke since gaining CM has had quite a few differences from the other CM users.
1. Flames-while all other CMs took the form of squiggles and shapes Sasuke's was the only one that actually looked like something realistic rather than just like a disease.
2. Wings- no other CM had them and each are specific to the individual.
3. The mark on the middle of his face that resembles a bird
Why any of these things are relevant
Well as we know the CM is a watered down version of DSM in fact Juugo's clans special ability is to go in to an imperfect DSM so what if Sasuke's CM picked up on his latent potential towards the phoenix senjutsu akin to the Uchiha and that influenced its form.
After all there is no proof that Hashi's SM is slug atm. It could be a senjutsu akin only to the senju or even a special senjutsu handed down to the younger son and his clan as the Sage's rightful heirs. Meaning that the older son and his kin would also have potential for the technique.
I mean the Uchiha are affiliated with wind, fire, birds, and even tengus, a phoenix wouldn't be too far out there.
