Chapter 1
I've thought about this a lot and unfortunately, I don't think I'll have the time to dedicate to writing this story properly. The scope of this story has gotten huge and it is getting bigger as I plan it out. I just think if it continues expanding I'll be writing it for a very, very long time.
I showed a few of my friends my concept for an original story and based on the reaction I got, I think my spare time would be better spent working on that. My plan is to write that story and eventually try to get it published.
So here's a description of the rest of Uchiha Mangekyo's story:
The first battle of the Iron Shadow war was a massacre. The main fight of that battle was going to be Shotokan Kage vs the third blade Akuto Yuki. Shoto was a Mokuton user who specialized in pine variations of the wood style. Akuto was a member of the Yuki clan (Haku's clan) who used a snow variant of the ice KKG.The battle between these two would end up as a draw with both of them dieing. The stories of the battle would say at the end that they are still battling every winter, which is why pine trees remain all winter long. Mangekyo would be the only survivor of this battle, but weary and wandering away from the battlefield he would be captured by the empire.
Mangekyo would be taken to a brainwashing prison where the empire converts their enemies to serve the empire. They would use physical and mental torture to make ninja convert to serve the empire's samurai. They would give the prisoners new names to sever ties with their past life. During the torture Mangekyo would retreat into his mind, where he would "talk" to his curse mark. While in his mind the spirit of the curse mark would train him to use his powers.
After being converted Mangekyo would become a nameless member of the fourth squad serving under the fourth blade of the empire. During this time he would fight in a few battles and win them easily. Eventually they would fight a ninja group led by Kenji Uchiha. During this battle Mangekyo would realize that he was actually fighting the Uchiha clan, which was the family that he has never known. As Mangekyo stands between the empire and his clan, he turns to face the empire and Kenji recognizes the curse mark on the back of Mangekyo's neck and says "you are...!?!" then Mangekto would remove his mask and turn around and smile. Then he would help his clan fight against the empire.
Near the end of that battle Mangekyo would face the leader of the fourth squad. Mangekyo would be near death and as the fourth blade goes for the kill Kenji Uchiha would jump in the way and save Mangekyo. Kenji would say "that he always knew that Mnagekyo would return to the clan" and "I must now do my duty as your grandfather and save your life" Kenji uses some hand signs and activates a barrier jutsu to protect Mangekyo and the rest of the clan. Kenji on the other side of the barrier tells Mangekyo that he is now the leader of the Uchiha Clan. Then Mangekyo watches as his grandfather and the fourth blade clash.
The battle ends with the fourth blades mask shattering from one of Kenji's attacks, while at the same time a Bokken used by the fourth mask strikes Kenji in the heart and kills him. Mangekyo is shocked to see the face of the fourth squad leader "He looks just like Shoto". The man behind the mask hears Mangekyo say that and says "So, you've met my old man" he reveals that he is Koshi Senju the son of Shotokan Senju, also known as Shotokan the traitor. He then tries to attack the barrier and one of the clan members tells Mangekyo that they need to retreat because the barrier will last a few Hrs. Looking back at the barrier Mangekyo noticed the image of the barrier it was a giant figure in the shape of a person.
With the clan's village destroyed they had nowhere to go, so they turned to Mangekyo and asked him where they should go he tells them to head to the Shadow Nation capital since he has old friends there. After arriving in the capital Mangekyo and his clan is approached by the city guards. They start hassling them when Hope who is walking down the street notices Mangekyo her childhood friend. She invites him to see her father and after they talk the entire clan joins with the village under the condition that they help with the war. Then there would be another time skip here.
We come back from the time skip about 14 years later. Mangekyo and Hope are married and their two clans are now one. A new family crest is made symbolizing both clans ability for fire style and the Kato clan taking them in and "fanning their flames". The symbol has the Uchiha clans red flame being powered up by the Kato clans white fire. Hope and Mangekyo have two sons Kano and Kenji, they are named after Mangekyo's father and grandfather. The war is still raging during this time and during a direct attack on the city Hope is killed and Mangekyo's children are taken by the empire.
Mangekyo during the attack was out of the city fighting the war. During a battle with the sixth blade Rem Kamiya, known as the most powerful female samurai ever Rem uses wind style and chakra swords. Mangekyo finds out that the city has been attacked and he goes into a frenzy. For the first time he activates Susanoo and destroys the entire sixth squad. He then hurries home. Mangekyo arrives to see the city destroyed and burning with black flames.
Mangekyo plans his attack on the Iron Empire with the rest of his clan. They head out to attack the empire's capital by sea. On the way there they encounter the empire's fifth squad, which was known as the pirate squad. the squad consists of mostly water users and is led by the fifth blade Ichiro Sato. At the end of the fight Mangekyo forces the pirates to retreat as they leave in their ship Mangekyo notices that they are heading back to warn the empire. Remembering what happened to the city he activates Amaterasu and burns the enemies in their ship. He doesn't know how the flames appeared but sees them as a sign of hope.
An epic battle takes place when they reach the shores near the city. They take on the second squad and push them back to the gates of the Iron empires capital city. Mangekyo fights against the leader of the second squad and defeats him. He starts talking about "finally being free" Mangekyo recognizes his voice and removes the mask it was Kai. Kai was under the control of emperor Koto's genjutsu and forced to lead the second squad. Mangekyo's resolve to defeat his enemies has never been stronger.
Inside the city Mangekyo fights the strongest squad the first squad he leads the charge and eventually defeats the man who killed his father First Blade Kira Momichi. Finally the time has come Mangekyo goes to confront his old friend the Emperor of the Seven Blades Koto Hozuki. As the two stand face to face for the first time in 19 years they remain motionless and silent.
Mangekyo then simply asks "why". Koto smiles and tells him that it was all necessary to achieve world domination. Koto reveals that he has been trying to break Mangekyo's curse mark since they were kids and at one point Mangekyo's father implanted his own will in the curse mark to help him control his Sharingan when he was older. Koto tells him that after Kano died he used his genjutsu to twist Kano's will to halt Mangekyo's progress, so that he could easier control Mangekyo's powers for his own use.
Mangekyo finds out that his father under a genjutsu told Koto everything. Mangekyo's powers are the absolute ability to copy anything. The destruction when he was born was his eyes copying the "explosion" in moment of creation (the big bang) on a smaller level. Since his eyes are partly sealed though he can only copy abilities during moments of extreme emotion. When his grandfather died he copied Susanoo and when he saw the city burning with the black flames he copied Amaterasu.
The two then fight and Mangekyo stands over him at the end and he says the speech: "I remember the earliest days of my childhood, when I was at peace. Before the rage... before the wars... before the truth revealed it's self to me. Hear my story & feel yourself drown in guilt... Then my Emperor... you will die alone, just as I have.... Everything I have ever had, you have taken from me in one way or another... and the truth is... that's what life is... death and destruction, pain and suffering, love and rage... Thanks for the life lesson... Now you will feel everything I have ever felt... my friend." Mangekyo leaves the throne room covered in blood as his men cheer. One of the men says "The empire has fallen, the war is over". Mangekyo smiles and proclaims that the war has only just begun.
Mangekyo would eventually find his children and rescue them from the same prison that he was once held in. For the rest of the years in his life he would fight in various battles against Koshi Senju and his clan, the war would be constant and the two clans would continue fighting for generations to the point where most had forgotten why they even fought in the first place. The era of war would only end when the two clan leaders at the time Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha would form a truce bringing peace for the first time in generations.
