Wise can be seen as the following: having or showing the ability to make good judgments, based on a deep understanding and experience of life. Having the power of discerning and judging properly as to what is true or right; possessing discernment, judgment, or discretion.

Madara has a deep understanding of life and experience of life, however, he does not make good judgements are knows what is good or right. He is not wide, he is knowledgeable. There is a discrete difference in the two.

yea, info that came from Hashi and the uchiha stone first hand, put orochimaru and kabuto in a room with that tablet and I bet they'd end up knowing more than madara, because they have true wisdom, madara is just going off of what he was shown.

Oro and Kabuto are also intelligent but without the help of various shinobi during their time and Madara's hype, they wouldn't have been able to decipher the Uchiha stone monument. It was also no easy task for them as they spent years of research just to find out it's secrets while it took Madara maybe an hour or two just to decipher it. Lol

So your saying that the source is the one that should be given the credit? That's just like saying Itachi is nothing but trash and Shisui should be given the credit as he was the one who told Itachi about how to live a ninja's life and even helped him unlock his MS. :| Although it's true that Shisui played a huge part in Itachi's life, but Itachi also thought for himself and so I believe both should be given equal credit.
