Uchiha Fortune

Hey everyone

I was wondering...

As Sasuke was the one remaining survivor of the Uchiha clan, and they were one of the strongest in the village, wouldn't he have inherited a huge fortune?

I dont recall anything being mentioned about what happened to the family property after the massacre, i am not even sure if it mentions where Sasuke lived during the first part of Naruto. (I doubt it was in his old house, due to the memories)

Does anyone here have any knowledge that could shed light into this?
Did the Hokage confiscate everything?
Was it all sold at auction?
Does Sasuke still have the money and the property but never cared for it?
