Seriously if Hashirama killed Madara, all this wouldn't have happened, no EMS, no Rinnegan, no ten tails, no Uchiha in the leaf village (I see Tobirama organizing some goons and going for a drive-by, cleaning up the Uchiha, or the Uchiha forming their own village).
Tobirama isn't his brother, he can't handle the entire clan, and I doubt the clan would die due to Tobirama getting the goons and trying to catch the opps.

Revealing what happened will damage the uchiha name more than it would the konoha's reputation, Which is the reason why itachi didn't want the information shared.
Sure some might not feel comfortable but most of them most likely wouldn't be alive to feel uncomfortable if konoha didn't act.

I think Izanagi is only a personal technique, I don't know if it affects others, and even then Madara wasn't aware of Izuna's wound being fatal, and it'd be a waste of the clan's powers to waste an eye on a situation that's unclear.
Correction: Danzou blaming the Uchiha for the actions of a few (Obito) is why the Uchiha were all killed. Danzou isn't all of Konoha, yet these Uchiha fans be wanting the likes of Naruto and Kakashi to take the fall for it.

There is no inherent rivalry that comes with being brothers. Also, if you noticed in the OP, I gave proper blame to Hiruzen, Danzou, Tobirama and the elders. That still doesn't take away the patheticness of Indra letting himself be manipulated by a random blob.

Konoha revealing the truth won't just be the fact that the Uchiha planned a coup, it'd be the fact that they persecuted the Uchiha, segregated them twice, stole the eye of a loyal shinobi and threatened to kill the brother of another unless said shinobi committed genocide. How in the world do you think Konoha would make it out scot-free with the entire truth coming out?

If you actually read the manga, once Itachi revealed that the Uchiha were planning a coup, the elders immediately jumped to the idea of genocide, and Hiruzen promised to negotiate but never did. That's Konoha for you, ungrateful to a clan that founded the village in the first place.

We don't know what the Uchiha were specifically planning, ahem, Itachi never attended one meeting. For all we know they were going to bring Donut's into work with death laxatives.
Those instances you're speaking of were mostly in times of war, where feudal Lords were hiring people to **** each other up. The Cloud village trying to steal the Byakugan was also kept hidden for the sake of peace between the villages.

If you knock over a stop-sign and you leave, not calling the police, and someone drives down that street not knowing a stop sign was in place and dies, should the death of that person be covered up? Is it justice, is it fair? Is it fair to persecute a group of people, wipe them clean off the map and then hide the truth?
I don't care if Konoha is punished or not, the truth must be revealed for the sake of justice. Nothing like that should ever happen without the truth being heard.
