Uchiha coup-d'etat

Now,we all know uchiha planned a coup-d'etat, & thats why itachi killed them before they execute it.....at this time, hiruzen's age would've surely been more than 60....
Also, tobirama, in recent chapters, told that he knew uchiha would plan a coup-d'etat(something like that ) sooner or later....& hiruzen was sa 20 yrs old at the most as it was before tobibrama died.....so from hiruzen's age 20 to 60, ir for 40 yrs, uchiha wanted to do coup-d'etat & still didnt do it ?? what were they exactly waiting for ?

They did not know that tobi did the attack, so they thought the leaf was trying to blame them for the attack, when they thought they had nothing to do with it.

They had to ensure the safety of their clan considering the leaf had many strong shinobis apart from the uchihas at that time.The sannin,White fang,the yellow flash along with the ever present hokage.They needed the village to be unstable and at it's weakest.So they had to wait.

Hiruzen 20-60 there will be trio sannin in at hiruzen 30 years old and konoha still at war...after that coming minato as hokage around hiruzen 50 years old. How can uchiha coup???in uchiha who is the stongest?? Maybe just itachi and shinsui. How they can beat village ?? But after minato death, oro missing, jman obses to bring back oro, and tsunade missing. Who is strong shinobi at konoha??? Maybe this is just the good time to coup

May they didnt want to attack the leaf and that was just threat to leaf.
